The study was conducted at the fields of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening,College of Agriculture, University of Baghdad during the growing seasons of 2013- 2014 .forPerformance of Evaluation Vegetative growth and yield traits and estimate some important geneticparameter on seven selected breed of tomato which (S1-S7 ) Pure line. the results found significantdifferences between breeds in all study trails except clusters flowering number .S1 significantly plantlength which reached 227.3 .Also S1,S2 and S4 were significantly increased the number fruit for plant,Fruit weight Increased in S3 ,S6 and plant yield. Increased in S1, S4 ,S5. Genetic variation valueswere low in Floral clusters , TSS and fruit firmest and medium in Stem diameter . and high in therest of traits .Percentage of inheritance in the broad sense was height ,in all traits except Floral clustersand fruit firmest 8.41%, 33.10% respectively and the environmental variation was higher than geneticvariation in this two traits. while phenotype variation values were low in TSS and fruit ferment andhigh in the rest of the study traits. Analysis Hierarchical clustering showed the Average convergencebreeds S3 and S6 also between S2 and S4 While diverged between S1, S5, S7.
The current study presents the simulative study and evaluation of MANET mobility models over UDP traffic pattern to determine the effects of this traffic pattern on mobility models in MANET which is implemented in NS-2.35 according to various performance metri (Throughput, AED (Average End-2-end Delay), drop packets, NRL (Normalize Routing Load) and PDF (Packet Delivery Fraction)) with various parameters such as different velocities, different environment areas, different number of nodes, different traffic rates, different traffic sources, different pause times and different simulation times . A routing protocol.…was exploited AODV(Adhoc On demand Distance Vector) and RWP (Random Waypoint), GMM (Gauss Markov Model), RPGM (Refere
... Show MoreIn recent years, the Global Navigation Satellite Services (GNSS) technology has been frequently employed for monitoring the Earth crust deformation and movement. Such applications necessitate high positional accuracy that can be achieved through processing GPS/GNSS data with scientific software such as BERENSE, GAMIT, and GIPSY-OSIS. Nevertheless, these scientific softwares are sophisticated and have not been published as free open source software. Therefore, this study has been conducted to evaluate an alternative solution, GNSS online processing services, which may obtain this privilege freely. In this study, eight years of GNSS raw data for TEHN station, which located in Iran, have been downloaded from UNAVCO website

This study intro- duces two novel methods for dimension reduction in additive partial linear models: (i) minimum average variance estimation (MAVE) combined with the adaptive least abso- lute shrinkage and selection operator (MAVE-ALASSO) and (ii) MAVE with smoothly clipped absolute deviation (MAVE-SCAD). These methods leverage the flexibility of MAVE for sufficient dimension reduction while incorporating adaptive penalties to en- sure sparse and interpretable models. The performance of both methods is evaluated through simulations using the mean squared error and variable selection cri

Show MoreThe experiment was conducted under shading (with the aid of Saran) condition on a nursery managed by the Baghdad Mayoralty during the season of 2014-2015 to study the effect of composed sheep manure extract on the growth and leaf nutrients content of tomato seedlings var. Wijdan. The experiment was composed of 6 treatments included the extract of sheep manure by hot (425C)and lmbient(205C) temperature water .The extract was diluted to the half by water and foliar applied to seedlings (multible application) or to the soil . Treatments also included the application of NPK chemical fertilizers as recommended and a control treatment through applying distilled water as foliar .The experiment was designed according to the randomized compl

Show MoreThe research aims to study the importance of applying lean accounting techniques and the tools and methods they contain, the most important of which is the “value path costs” technique and its impact on rationalizing and controlling costs, as well as reducing production costs in general and reducing quality costs in a way Special by reducing or eliminating waste and waste in both time and resources and meeting customer requirements. In order to achieve this goal, the researcher relied on the application of lean accounting tools by obtaining data related to the mill, in addition to that, the information obtained as a result of field coexistence in the mill and being able to view the records of the mill in the research sample. From the
... Show MoreThis work presents a canned-food defect-detection method using the EfficientDet model with four backbones (MobileNet, EfficientNet, Swin-T, and ConvNeXt). The dataset included 8046 images with a resolution of 512 × 512 pixels. The performance criteria in this study accuracy “mAP”, computational cost “FLOPs”, and Frames Per Second “FPS”. The lightweight backbone with EfficientDet achieves a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 90% with MobileNet, while EfficientNet achieves mAP accuracy of 92% and 94%. The heavy backbone for EfficientDet (Swin-T, and ConvNeXt) achieves mAP accuracy of 96% and 98%. The main contribution of this study is to optimize the speed of conveyor belts in industrial production lines to considers the
... Show MorePurpose: the purpose of this study is to investigate how managers working for the General Authority for Irrigation and Reclamation Projects react to the impact of Emotional Intelligence (EI) on their performance. Theoretical framework: The current study includes an intellectual framework on two variables, namely EI and Manager Performance (MP), because it is essential to investigate the relationship between these two variables and the impact of EI on MP. Design/methodology/approach: The research problem is that a manager's capacity to make wise decisions about their work or interactions with subordinates is diminished when they have inadequate EI. The questionnaire is used as a tool for gathering data for the study, and the st
... Show MoreIn 2010, the tomato leaf miner Tuta absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) was reported for the first time in Iraq. The larvae can feed on all parts of tomato plants and can damage all the growth stages. The main host plant is tomato, Lycopersicon esculentum, but it can also attack other plants in Solanaceae family. In this study it was found attacking alfalfa plants, Medicago sativa in Baghdad Province. This finding reveals that alfalfa also serves as a host plant for T. absoluta in Iraq.
