In this study, manganese dioxide (MnO₂) nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized via the hydrothermal method and utilized for the adsorption of Janus green dye (JG) from aqueous solutions. The effects of MnO₂ NPs on kinetics and diffusion were also analyzed. The synthesized NPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), with XRD confirming the nanoparticle size of 6.23 nm. The adsorption kinetics were investigated using three models: pseudo-first-order (PFO), pseudo-second-order (PSO), and the intraparticle diffusion model. The PSO model provided the best fit (R² = 0.999), indicating that the adsorption process is chemical in nature. Kinetic analysis revealed that the MnO₂ surface exhibited faster adsorption kinetics during the film diffusion step (rate constant 0.2776) compared to intraparticle diffusion (0.0042) at 298.15 K. Thermodynamic parameters, including enthalpy change (∆H*), entropy change (∆S*), and Gibbs free energy change (∆G*) of activation, were calculated from the Eyring equation to be 37.48 kJ/mol and -144.69 J/mol, respectively. The positive ∆G* value (80.62 kJ/mol) suggests that the adsorption process is energy-intensive, requiring higher energy to form chemical bonds between JG and MnO₂ nanoparticles. Release of industrial effluents comprising dyes in water bodies is one of the foremost causes of water pollution. Therefore, the proper and proficient treatment of these dyes contaminated left-over material before their release is crucial. Herein, an eco-friendly biological macromolecule Gum-Acacia (GA) integrated Fe3O4 nanoparticles composite hydrogel was manufactured via co-precipitation technique for effective adsorption of Congo red (CR) dye existing in water bodies. The as-prepared magnetic GA/Fe3O4 composite hydrogel was characterized by FTIR, XRD, EDX, VSM, SEM, and BET techniques. These studies discovered the fruitful fabrication of biodegradable magnetic GA/Fe3O4 composite hydrogel possessing porous structure with large surface are

Nano iron oxide was made using a substance that causes precipitation and a coating from the alcoholic extract of orange leaves from Iraq. It was examined structurally and spectrally using several techniques, including X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, field-emission scanning microscopy (FESEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The diagnosis proved that the nano iron oxide was successfully prepared in a spherical form and with an average size of 71.1 nm. The nano iron oxide particles were tested for their ability to remove crystal

Batch mode system was used to study several parameters such as, contact time (4 days), concentration of dye (10-50) ppm, adsorbent dosage (0.05-0.25) gram, pH (2-12) and temperature (30-60) oC. The corn leaf was characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy device before and after the adsorption process of the IC dye and scanning electron microscope device was used to find the morphology of the adsorbent material. The experimental data was imputing with several isotherms where it fits with Freundlich (R2 = 0.9937) and followed pseudo second order kinetic. The hi

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a novel nanocomposite adsorbent, synthesised from polypyrrole, zinc oxide, and nickel (PPy/ZnO-NiO), in eliminating Pb(II) ions from a waterbased solution. This adsorbent offers excellent metal selectivity, environmental stability, ease of manufacture, and reusability. Several techniques, namely XRD, FTIR, TGA, SEM, TEM, EDX, and BET, were employed to characterize the synthesised nanocomposite adsorbent. The study examined the impact of multiple factors influencing the adsorption process, including pH, temperature, contact period, metal ion concentration, and ad

The present work concerns with the biosorption of Cd(II) ions from aqueous solution using the outer layer of onions. Adsorption of the used ions was found to be pH dependent and maximum removal of the ions by outer layer of onions and was found to be 99.7%.
The Electro-Fenton oxidation process is one of the essential advanced electrochemical oxidation processes used to treat Phenol and its derivatives in wastewater. The Electro-Fenton oxidation process was carried out at an ambient temperature at different current density (2, 4, 6, 8 mA/cm2) for up to 6 h. Sodium Sulfate at a concentration of 0.05M was used as a supporting electrolyte, and 0.4 mM of Ferrous ion concentration (Fe2+) was used as a catalyst. The electrolyte cell consists of graphite modified by an electrodepositing layer of PbO2 on its surface as anode and carbon fiber modified with Graphene as a cathode. The results indicated that Phenol concentration decreases with an increase in current dens
