The goal of this research is to identify superstition that university students have in Libya and Iraq, with a comparison between the two. Furthermore, this research aims to identify significant differences in superstition among university students according to gender, study grade and study course.

The researcher explored the historical development of superstition and some explanatory theories of this human phenomenon. He also presented a number of previous foreign and Arab researches. He also designed a questionnaire on common superstitious ideas among university students in both Iraq and Libya.

The research seeks to find the relationship between psychological flow and futuristic thinking among postgraduate students. To this end, the researchers have made up two scales: one scale to measure the psychological flow which consisted of (32) items and the other to measure the futuristic thinking included (39) items which were distributed into three domains. As to collect the required data, the two scales had applied on a sample comprised (200) postgraduate students. The findings revealed that there is a correlation between psychological flow and futuristic thinking. The research aims to measure family negligence and its relationship with internet addiction among university students. The researcher has developed a scale of (20) items to measure the negligence of family, which was applied to (308) male and female university students in the first and fourth stages. The research concluded that University students suffer from family negligence. The research sample has an addiction to the Internet. There is a relationship between family neglect and addiction to the Internet among university students. The researcher came out with a number of suggestions and recommendations.
