AbstractIn Iraq, the domestic goat <italic>Capra hircus</italic> is valued as a valuable commercial resource. As obligatory ectoparasites, ixodid ticks cause significant harm to their animal hosts. Hard ticks parasitize the abdomen, inside limbs, ears, and head. Out of a total of 200 samples evaluated, 150 goat- infested samples had a total of 450 Hard ticks (303male and 147 female) and were infested at a rate of 75%. The results of the current research eight species of hard ticks were recognized. Goat species belonging to the family Ixodidae (Capra hircus: Linnaeus, 1758), obtained from distinct areas involving: the Iraqi capital Baghdad governorate [Al-Yusifiya], Al-Anbar governorate [Al-Saqlawiya], the city of Karbala governorate [Shithatha], Wasit governorate [Al Shahaimiya, Badra and Al-Moafaqiya], Dohok governorate, Diyala governorate [Al-Saadiya, Baqooba and Khanigin], Salahaddin governorate [Sammara], Al-Dewaniya governorate [Al-Daghara and Shamiya], Al-Nasirya governorate and and Babil governorate [Al-Mosayaib and Jbala]. There are ten governorates in Iraq that have an abundance of goat farms. These results may have more significance than previous data on the likelihood of hard tick infestation in goats. Sample collected from January 1st, 2023, until September 30th, 2023. The objectives of this experiment are to accurately identify ixodid ticks and determine their distribution throughout Iraqi goat populations. The most recent research indicates that two new species in Iraq have found a new home in goats include : <italic>Rhipicephalus appendiculatus</italic> and <italic>Hyalomma rufipes</italic>.

In this work, a comparative analysis for the behavior and pattern of the variations of the IF2 and T Ionospheric indices was conducted for the minimum and maximum years of solar cycles 23 and 24. Also, the correlative relationship between the two ionospheric indices was examined for the seasonal periods spanning from August 1996 to November 2008 for solar cycle 23 and from December 2008 to November 2019 for solar cycle 24. Statistical calculations were performed to compare predicted values with observed values for the selected indices during the tested timeframes.
