Larval instar duration of the house fly Musca domesticais influenced by the application of GHA and precocine. Topical use of ug / ul of JHA KID 183 prolonge Juvenile period compared to the control. On the contrary, application of ug / ul of precocine decreased it. Application of both substances has no effect. The emergence inhibitors were also influenced by such treatments. It reached 52.39% by the use of JHA, (-14.28%) by the use of precocine.

In this research thin films of (CdTe) have been prepared as pure and doped by Zn
with different ratios (1,2,3,4,5)% at thickness (400+25)nm with deposition rate (2±0.1)nm,
deposited on glass substrate at R.T. by using thermal evaporation in vacuum . All samples
were annealed at temperature (523,573,623,673)K at 1h.
The structural prop erties of all prepared thin films, doped and undoped have been
studied by using XRD. The analysis reveals that the structures of the films were
polycrystalline and typed cubic with a preferred orientation along (111) plane for the

Thedielectric constant ε1and dielectric loss ε2 have been determined for bulk polyaniline. ε1 decrease with the increase frequency. Electrical conductivity measurements increase with the increases both of the amount of HCl and the dose of radiation. The dielectric investigations show decrease with dose radiation.

this study aimed to study the effect of Cordia myxa extract on the growth and activities of the following types of bacteria : Escherichia coli , Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus Spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae , Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes , Bacillus subtilus, and the yeast Candida albicans .the results showed an inhibitory effect of the methanol extract on both the growth and activity of the tested microbes .this was reflected by the minimum inhibitory concentration ( MIC ) of different type of bacteria and the yeast.

The aim of this study is to extract and utilise the bark of Berlinia grandiflora as a natural dye source for the colouration of cotton and polyamide 6 fabrics. The solvents used for this study were water, methanol, acetone, and methanol/potassium hydroxide. The best of all the solvents used was water.       Using three-point bending experiments,  the effect of the particle size of SiO₂ on the flexural properties of epoxy composites was investigated. Young modulus and flexural strength were studied for different weight percentage of filler  (2,4,6,8 and 10) wt%.The size of SiO₂ particles varied from micro (100um) to nano (12nm) .

Flexural strength and  Young modul were found to increase with the filler content, but when the particle size decreased to the nanoscale, the  Young module  increased. Flexural strength was higher for microcomposites than nanocomposites.
