Artistic Techniques for Developing Creativity in Design
...Show More Authors

The design of future will still be the most confusing and puzzling issue and misgivings that arouse worry and leading to the spirit of adventures to make progress and arrive at the ways of reviving, creativity and modernism. The idea of prevailing of a certain culture or certain product in design depends on the given and available techniques, due to the fact that the computer and their artistic techniques become very important and vital to reinforce the image in the design. Thus, it is very necessary to link between these techniques and suitable way to reform the mentality by which the design will be reformed, from what has been said, (there has no utilization for the whole modern and available graphic techniques in the design processes for developing the creativity in design).

A New Pharmacological Direction in Sleep Medicine: Tirzepatide’s FDA Approval for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
...Show More Authors

In addition to being a novel medication in treating obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus, tirzepatide is currently being studied to assess its effectiveness and safety on various health parameters, specifically with an emphasis on the neurological field, including sleep medicine and neurodegenerative conditions. In this perspective, we highlight the recent FDA approval of tirzepatide’s use for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, with recommendations for future research to extend use in children and adolescents.

An attempt to Stimulate lipids for Biodiesel Production from locally Isolated Microalgae in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Two locally isolated microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris Bejerinck and Nitzschia palea (Kützing) W. Smith) were used in the current study to test their ability to production biodiesel through stimulated in different nitrogen concentration treatments (0, 2, 4, 8 gl ), and effect of nitrogen concentration on the quantity of primary product (carbohydrate, protein ), also the quantity and quality of lipid. The results revealed that starvation of nitrogen led to high lipid yielding, in C. vulgaris and N. palea the lipid content increased from 6.6% to 40% and 40% to 60% of dry weight (DW) respectively. Also in C. vulgaris, the highest carbohydrate was 23% of DW from zero nitrate medium and the highest protein was 50% of DW in the treatment 8gl. Comparison between diode laser and scalpel for lip lengthening in patients with gummy smile
...Show More Authors

Background: lip lengthening procedure is one of the surgical options for the correction of gummy smile in patients with short upper lip. Methods: A comparative clinical study was conducted on 15 patients requiring lip lengthening procedure for the esthetic correction of excessive gingival exposure with gummy smile. Scalpel was used in seven patients and diode laser in the remaining eight patients. Under infiltration anesthesia, about one cm strip of mucosa was excised at the vestibular depth and the mucosa of the lip was sutured to the alveolar mucosa. Results: The diode laser group demonstrated less postoperative pain and swelling. Regarding postoperative ecchymosis, three patients in the scalpel group developed ecchymosis and no cases

Advancements and challenges in pulsed laser-deposited hydrophobic CeO2 film for broadband antireflection applications
...Show More Authors

Due to the remarkable progress in photovoltaic technology, enhancing efficiency and minimized the costs have emerged as global challenges for the solar industry. A crucial aspect of this advancement involves the creation of solar cell antireflection coating, which play a significant role in minimizing sunlight reflection on the cell surface. In this study, we report on the optimization of the characteristics of CeO2 films prepared by pulsed laser deposition through the variation of laser energy density. The deposited CeO2 nanostructure films have been used as an effective antireflection coating (ARC) and light-trapping morphology to improve the efficiency of silicon crystalline solar cell. The film’s thickness increases as laser fluence i

Use of cold plasma in the synthesis of gold nanomaterials for parasitic leishmaniasis treatment
...Show More Authors

The atmospheric air cold plasma has been used to manufacture gold nanomaterials for treating parasitic leishmaniasis. This study experimentally assessed the treatment of Leishmania parasites (L. donovani and L. tropica) by gold nanoparticles. Specifically, atmospheric pressure nonthermal plasma was generated using different diameters (1.0, 2.8, 3.8 and 4.3 mm) of high voltage electrode. Aqueous gold tetrachloride salts (HAuCl4·4H2O) were used as precursor to produce gold nanoparticles. UV-vis spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction were conducted for characterization of the nanoparticles. The optimum condition (a diameter of 1 mm) was chosen to prepare gold nanoparticles, where the grain size was found to be 17 nm. Accordingly, the nanoparticle

Smart Flow Steering Agent for End-to-End Delay Improvement in Software-Defined Networks
...Show More Authors

To ensure fault tolerance and distributed management, distributed protocols are employed as one of the major architectural concepts underlying the Internet. However, inefficiency, instability and fragility could be potentially overcome with the help of the novel networking architecture called software-defined networking (SDN). The main property of this architecture is the separation of the control and data planes. To reduce congestion and thus improve latency and throughput, there must be homogeneous distribution of the traffic load over the different network paths. This paper presents a smart flow steering agent (SFSA) for data flow routing based on current network conditions. To enhance throughput and minimize latency, the SFSA distrib

Graph-FEM/ML Framework for Inverse Load Identification in Thick-Walled Hyperelastic Pressure Vessels
...Show More Authors

The accurate identification of internal and external pressures in thick-walled hyperelastic vessels is a challenging inverse problem with significant implications for structural health monitoring, biomedical devices, and soft robotics. Conventional analytical and numerical approaches address the forward problem effectively but offer limited means for recovering unknown load conditions from observable deformations. In this study, we introduce a Graph-FEM/ML framework that couples high-fidelity finite element simulations with machine learning models to infer normalized internal and external pressures from measurable boundary deformations. A dataset of 1386 valid samples was generated through Latin Hypercube Sampling of geometric and l
