Colorimetric Assay of Thiamine Hydrochloride in Pharmaceutical Preparations

            A simple, rapid, accurate and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of thiaminehydrochloride has been developed. The method is based on the formation of the Schiff’s base between the primary amino group present in thiamine hydrochloride and aldehyde group present in the vanillin reagent to produce a yellow colored complex having maximum absorption at 390 nm. Beers law has obeaid over the concentration range of 2-28µg/mL, with molar absorptivity of 0.96x104L/mol.cm. Preparation and Characterization of BeO-Supported Feldspar Porcelain

Due to the specific characteristic of porcelain, the insertion of Beryllium oxide has been studied. The basic materials and quantities were selected carefully. In this work, porcelain containing 32 wt% feldspar, 24 wt% quartz and 44 wt% clay was synthesized and  beryllium oxide (BeO) (1 wt.%, 3 wt.%, 5 wt% and 7wt%) were add. The basic and new composition porcelain powders were uniaxially compacted into standard samples dimensions and fired at various sintering temperatures, 1100°C, 1300°C, and 1450°C then  held for 2 hour in a furnace.

Two side properties of EWMA control panels unilaterally

This study, establishes two stochastic monotonicity results concerning the run length of an upper one –sided Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) control charts, based on the logarithm of the sample variance, for monitoring a process standard deviation, these properties cast interesting light on the control chart performance, and their extension to other one –sided EWMA control charts.
