In this work, an efficient energy management (EEM) approach is proposed to merge IoT technology to enhance electric smart meters by working together to satisfy the best result of the electricity customer's consumption. This proposed system is called an integrated Internet of things for electrical smart meter (2IOT-ESM) architecture. The electric smart meter (ESM) is the first and most important technique used to measure the active power, current, and energy consumption for the house’s loads. At the same time, the effectiveness of this work includes equipping ESM with an additional storage capacity that ensures that the measurements are not lost in the event of a failure or sudden outage in WiFi network. Then then these measurements are sent using the internet of thing (IoT) technology to Google Firebase cloud, where the electric consumer's service center is located to store, analyze the measured data, and detect cases of energy penetration when it exceeds 53 and the cases of the electrical energy theft if any below 20 and then take the appropriate decision about it. Finally, an electric smart metering application (ESM-app) is designed and implemented to read and pull data information from the Google firebase cloud and then send the electric bill to the end consumer, and sending alert messages to the thieves and electrical power hackers to prohibit them if something wrong has detected. BACKGROUNDS Nasoalveolar molding (NAM) application is among presurgical management (PSM) techniques used for infants with cleft lip and palate (CLP). It helps to approximate the palatal cleft and to reshape the nasoalveolar complex prior to primary lip repair. This study aimed to explore types of PSM and the dental speciality provision for infants with CLP in Baghdad. The status of NAM usage and surgeons’ perceptions toward NAM usage were assessed. MATERIALS AND METHODS This is a cross-sectional paper-based questionnaire study that collected responses of surgeons perform primary lip and nose repair regarding PSM. The questionnaire was distributed amongst public and private hospitals in Baghdad. Twenty surgeons were enrolled (only those su

The most significant barrier to global telemedicine adoption is to achieve a secure and efficient transport of patients, which has two critical responsibilities. The first is to get the patient to the nearest hospital as quickly as possible, and the second is to keep the connection secure while traveling to the hospital. As a result, a new network scheme has been suggested to expand the medical delivery system, which is an agile network scheme to securely redirect ambulance motorbikes to the nearest hospital in emergency cases. This research provides a secured and efficient telemedicine transport strategy compatible with the

Show MoreIn a hybrid cooling solar thermal systems , a solar collector is used to convert solar energy into heat energy in order to super heat the refrigerant leaving the compressor, and this process helps in the transformation of refrigerant state from gaseous state to the liquid state in upper two-thirds of the condenser instead of the lower two-thirds such as in the traditional air-conditioning systems and this will reduce the energy needed to run the process of cooling .In this research two systems with a capacity of 2 tons each were used, a hybrid air-conditioning system with an evacuated tubes solar collector and a traditional air-conditioning system . The refrigerant of each type was R22.The comparison was in the amou

The implemented system is based on "global system mobile (GSM)" network by using "short message service (SMS)". The design mainly contains a GSM modem and interfacing unit circuit with microcontrollers. This system could control up to eight different electrical devices such as light, Air conditioner, washing machine and many more applications which needed in daily life in different area (House, Office, or factory, etc.). The control is done by sending a specific SMS messages from traditional or smart phone. The controlling devices are restricted to a pre-defined phone number and are set in the so

The technology and program must be designed to frame its purpose and should link back to specific goals of implementing smart community engagement. Digital services do not guarantee a smart engagement between the community and the local government. This is the case for the Kubang Pasu local government where several online services have been provided in their attempt to implement the smart community concept. However, understanding on the preferences of features and requirements of existing web-based systems and the impact of these systems is lacking. Therefore, a perception study needs to be condu

The four beds that act as thermal compressors are powered by a low grade thermal energy in the form of hot water at a temperature range of 65 to 83 °C. As well as, the water pumps and control cycle consume insignificant electrical power. This adsorption chiller consists of three water cycles. The first water cycle is the driven hot water cycle. The second cycle is the cold water cycle to cool the carbon, which adsorbs the methanol. Finally, the chilled water cycle that is used to overcome the building load. The theoretical results showed that average cycle cooling power

Show MoreThe problem of the paper focused on the role of the learning organization in the crisis management strategy, and the extent of the actual interest in both the learning organization and the crisis management and aimed at diagnosing and analyzing that and surrounding questions. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used to calculate the results and the correlation coefficient between the two main variables. The methodology was descriptive and analytical. The case study was followed by a questionnaire that was distributed to a sample of 31 teachers. The paper adopted a seven-dimensional model of systemic thinking that encourages questioning, empowerment, provision of advanced technologies, and strategic lea

Despite therapeutic advances, two-thirds of patients with metastatic cancer experience inadequate pain control. This scoping review synthesizes recent advances in cancer pain pathophysiology and management, focusing on molecular and cellular mechanisms, emerging pharmacological, interventional and technological therapies and key evidence gaps to inform future precision-based pain management strategies. Methods: Following PRISMA-ScR methodology, we searched PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science for studies published between January 2022 and Septem

The current research is attempt to test the reflection of the lean management on the human resources management practices of two of the most important communication companies operating in Iraq (`Zain & Asia cell), The research aims to Determine the extent of adoption of the lean management approach in the two researched companies, as it improving human resource management practices. The research problem represented in the existence of lack of in some aspects of the application the lean management approach in service sector and neglecting the impact of its tools on the human resource management practices. For this purpose three principle research hypotheses has been formulated, first there is a correlation rel
