In this study, the water treatment plants located on the Tigris River within Baghdad city were subjected to qualitative and quantitative assessments. Based on location, the plants from upstream to downstream are Al-Karkh, East Tigris, Al-Karamah, Al-Wathbah, Al-Wehdah, Al-Kadiseyah, Al-Dora, and Al-Rashid. Data from 2009 to 2020 on the turbidity, total dissolved solids, Alkalinity, hardness, chloride, calcium, and temperature were used in the qualitative assessment while data on the treated water production and population served were used in the quantitative assessment. The above Data was acquired from the Municipality of Baghdad. The turbidity was mainly used as a fair gauge to assess the performance of the water treatment plants in Baghda

The current study aims to investigate the effect of (SWOM) strategy on acquiring the psychological concepts of educational psychology course and its retention among education college students. To do this, a sample of (57) male and female student were intentionally selected from first grade, Kurdish department / college of education / Ibin Rushd of human sciences. In this paper, a compression system with high synthetic architect is introduced, it is based on wavelet transform, polynomial representation and quadtree coding. The bio-orthogonal (tap 9/7) wavelet transform is used to decompose the image signal, and 2D polynomial representation is utilized to prune the existing high scale variation of image signal. Quantization with quadtree coding are followed by shift coding are applied to compress the detail band and the residue part of approximation subband. The test results indicate that the introduced system is simple and fast and it leads to better compression gain in comparison with the case of using first order polynomial approximation.
