The presence of gypsum in soil as bonding agent alters its behavior with a large influence on itsphysical properties.Soil samples were taken from two locations of different gypsum content(S1 = 30.5% and S2= 20%) inMakhmur area. TheUnified soil classification system indicated that soil type was clay with low plasticity(CL). Basic methods of physical testing of soils, such as grain size analysis,specific gravity and atterberg limit were applied. Stabilizationof the gypsiferous soil was performed by addinglimestone waste powder takenfrom Said sadiqandPirmam areas,with different percentages(5%, 15%,25%).The results show that the addition of limestone powder to the tested soils decreases their liquid and plastic limits.

The effect of different Ti additions on the microstructure of Al-Ti alloy prepared by powder metallurgy was investigated. A certain amount of Ti (10wt%, 15wt%, and 20wt%) were added to aluminium and the tests like microhardness, density, scanning electron microscope (SEM), optical microscope (OM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) were conducted to determine the influence of different Ti additives on the Al-Ti alloy properties and microstructure. In this study, two types of mixes were adopted by using two grading of coarse aggregate. The practical side of this study was to produce no-fine aggregate concrete by using crushed clay brick aggregates. The durability of the produced concrete and internal sulfate attack was studied.      For durability assessment, it is found that the no-fine concrete made with crushed brick aggregate lost about (15-25) % of its compressive strength after being subjected to 60 cycles of wetting and drying with age 120 days.
