A study that collected 240 samples and divided into two groups: the first 120 samples were for diabetics and the second 120 samples were for healthy people, and each group included (90, 20.10) samples from the mouth, urine and vagina respectively, The results showed positive (28.67, 4.00, 1.67) isolates of Candida. In the mouth, urine and vagina, respectively, of diabetic patients compared to (9.33, 2.33, 5.00) positive isolates in the mouth, urine and vagina, respectively, in the healthy. The rate of positive isolates in women was high in women with diabetes and healthy, and it reached 25.33 and 9.00 isolates, respectively, compared with the rate of isolates in men with Candida disease for diabetic patients and healthy people 14.67 and 2.00 isolates, respectively. Candidiasis recorded the highest incidence in the age group (51-70) years of diabetes, as (16.33, 3.33, 3.00) infections in the mouth, urine and vagina respectively, while the age group between (20-30) years in which any injury to the urine and vagina except the mouth was recorded was 1.33 As for the healthy, the incidence of candidiasis was less compared to diabetics, as it reached (5.00, 2.00, 1.33) infections in the mouth, urine and vagina, respectively. Colonies of Candida spp. On SDA medium were bright, creamy white and smooth. C. albicans was only able to grow at 45 C and produce germ tube when it grew in the serum. C. tropical showed its ability to grow surface on SDB medium. The use of chrom agar medium was C albacans in light green, C. Tropecalis in blue, C. dublineiensis in dark green, and C. glabrata in pale pink. C. albicans isolated from the mouth, urine, or vagina …
Background: The main purpose of this study is to find if there is any correlation between the level of C-reactive protein (CRP) in gingival crevicular fluid with its serum level in chronic periodontitis patients and to explore the differences between them according to the probing depth. Materials and methods: Forty seven male subjects enrolled in this study. Thirty males with chronic periodontitis considered as study group whom further subdivided according to probing depth into subgroup 1 with pocket depth ≤6mm, subgroup 2 with pocket depth >6mm. The other 17 subjects considered as controls. For all subjects, clinical examination where done for periodontal parameters plaque index (PLI), gingival index (GI), bleeding on probing (BOP),

Following exposure to three concentrations of benzalkonium chloride BAC 0.1, 0.25, 0.50, and 1 mg/l (BAC1,2,3 and 4) in aquaria for two durations 21 and 42 days, the microbiological assay in fish aquaria, in addition to blood parameters were assessed. Except for the mean difference between BAC2 and BAC3 (P > 0.05) at 42 days, the mean values of the bacterial counts revealed a significant difference between all compared groups (0.05 ≥ P ≤ 0.01). Following exposure to the lower concentrations of BAC (1, 2 and 3), the main blood parameters of Oreochromis niloticus namely red bl

A program had been built up by the use of MathCAD software to calculate the minimum weight of a square section robot arm that could with stand a given pay load and gives a minimum deflection. The second part of the program makes an optimization process for the dimension of the cross section and gives the dimensions of the tri-circular tube cross section that have the same weight of

Objectives: The study is carried out to assess functional performance for heart's valve replacement patients and find out relationship with sociodemographic data and clinical data
Methodology: Descriptive design is carried out at cardiac surgery centers in Baghdad ; Ibn -Al Betar Specialized for cardiac surgery center and Al-Iraqi center for cardiac disease. its initiation from December28the 2013 to September 1st 2014,A non- probability (purposive) sample of 50 adults patients are attended cardiac surgery centers at Baghdad city and who have heart valves replacement. This research contributes to environmental sustainability by recycling natural waste resources in making clothing products. The research aims to employ palm trees waste in designing belts suitable for contemporary women's fashion trends. Both descriptive and applied research approaches were used. Therefore, a collection of belts was designed and implemented. Then, a questionnaire was used to assess the extent to which the implemented belts achieved in sustainability standards using Likert scale. The sample size was 60 women. The data were analyzed using the SPSS program to calculate the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. One of the significant results of the research is the high average scores of the criteria for achieving sustainab
