On the Use of 6th-Order Tunable Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Varactor based Filter in Ultra-Wideband Low Noise Amplifier
...Show More Authors
Background:

The plethora of the emerged radio frequency applications makes the frequency spectrum crowded by many applications and hence the ability to detect specific application’s frequency without distortion is a difficult task to achieve.

Objective:

The goal is to achieve a method to mitigate the highest interferer power in the frequency spectrum in order to eliminate the distortion.

Method:

This paper presents the application of the proposed tunable 6th-order notch filter on Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) Low Noise

The effect of Silicon di oxide Nano -Fillers reinforcement on some properties of heat cure polymethyl methacrylate denture base material
...Show More Authors

Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of addition of surface treated silicon dioxide Nano filler (SiO2) on some properties of heat cured acrylic resin denture base material (PMMA). The properties were impact strength, transvers strength, and surface hardness. Materials and methods: In addition to controlled group SiO2 powder was added to PMMA powder by weight in three different percentages 3%, 5% and 7%, mixed by probe ultra-sonication machine.120 specimens were constructed and divided into 3 groups according to the test (each group consist of 40 specimens) and each group was subdivided into 4 sub-groups according to the percentage of added SiO2 (finally each subgroup consist of 10 specimens). The tests conducte

Study the Effect Different Radioactive Dose on Mechanical Properties of Composite Material from Novolak Resin Exposure to High – Energy Radiation
...Show More Authors

The research involves using phenol – formaldehyde (Novolak) resin as matrix for making composite material, while glass fiber type (E) was used as reinforcing materials. The specimen of the composite material is reinforced with (60%) ratio of glass fiber.

The impregnation method is used in test sample preparation, using molding by pressure presses.

All samples were exposure to (Co60) gamma rays of an average energy (2.5)Mev. The total doses were (208, 312 and 728) KGy.

The mechanical tests (bending, bending strength, shear force, impact strength and surface indentation) were performed on un irradiated and irrad

The Prevalence of Acetabular Retroversion among Adult Patients Presenting with Hip Pain in Orthopedic Clinic of Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital
...Show More Authors

Background: Acetabular retroversion has been proposed to contribute to the development of pain and osteoarthritis of the hip. Conventional anteroposterir (AP) pelvic radiographs may represent a reliable, easily available diagnostic modality.

Objective: To obtained a reproducible technique allowing the anterior and posterior acetabular rims to be visible for assessment

Method: This is a cross-sectional study conducted from December 2015 to March 2017 targeting patients with hip pain in orthopedic clinic of Al-Kindy teaching hospital. The study sample consisted of 100 patients with hip pain who were investigated with Antroposterior pelvic plain x-ray, which was done for all

Mangrove Landscaping As An Adaptation Pattern To Reduce The Impact of Climate Change in Segara Anakan Lagoon, Cilacap Regency Indonesia
...Show More Authors

Mangrove landscaping in the Segara Anakan Lagoon (SAL) is an adaptation pattern of mangrove ecosystems to live and grow in unstable areas. This research aimed to develop a mangrove landscape to mitigate the impacts of ocean waves, currents, and inundation due to climate change. The study was conducted in SAL and Cilacap Coast (CC) using the environmental properties and climate change data. The data obtained were analyzed using mapping and trendline analyses. The results showed that mangrove landscaping in Segara Anakan had four zones with Nypa frutican, Rhizophora styllosa, Aegiceras corniculatum, Rhizophora apiculata, Avicennia marina, Sonneratia alba identified as the best adaptation of mangrove species. Climate change give a high impa

Academic Boredom in the Light of some Variables of Academically Excellent Intermediate Stage Students: زهراء سعد العبودي , انتصار كمال العاني
...Show More Authors

Academic boredom is one of the most emotional problems that arouse an individual's fatigueness and lowers his interest. This is because of the environment's low efficiency and of spending long monotonous time. This state is characterized by having lack of interest, difficulties in concentration, and the desire to leave the class.  It is considered one of the most prominent forms of boredom widespread among students and the most severe and dangerous one that has negative effects and severe psychological and social problems. The current research aims to investigate a randomly selected sample of 335 students from the first and third grades at the directorates of education (Karkh and Rusafa) who suffers from academic boredom. Obstacles to Administrative Creativity of Female Leaders in Secondary Schools (Curriculum System) in the Northern Border Region in Saudia Arabia
...Show More Authors

The study aimed to reveal the obstacles of administrative creativity among the leaders of secondary schools (the curriculum system) in the northern border region, which relate to the obstacles (organizational, motivational, and psychological). In addition, to identify the most important statistical differences between the responses of the members of the study sample, which attribute to the variables (educational qualification, year’s Administrative expertise). To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and to verify the validity of the tool, it has presented to several referees and faculty members in the educational field. The validity of the internal consistency was also calculated for t

First record of peregrine shrimp Metapenaeus stebbingi Nobili, 1904 (Crustacea, Decapoda: Penaeidae) in the Iraqi waters, North-West Arabian Gulf
...Show More Authors

One male specimen of the species Metapenaeus stebbingi Nobili, 1904 was first recorded in November 2021 from the Iraqi territorial waters, Northwest of the Arabian Gulf. Therefore, the investigated shrimp species nominally corresponds to the original description of M. stebbing through the main diagnostic features. It must be adopted in the spread and expansion of species, a new record of the area, and a distinctive addition to the species of commercial shrimp within the Iraqi marine waters.

Histological study of the embryogenesis of metencephalon in pre-implantation of albino rat's embryos after maternal treated with silver nanoparticles
...Show More Authors

Cerebellum is the most important and critical part of the central nervous system, cerebellum is very sensitive to the abnormal changes during the embryological development in its histological structure, the exposure to any infection during embryogenesis produce abnormalities in the cerebellum and behavioral of offspring. In this study we tried to study the ontogenesis of the cerebellum in the embryos of the albino rats and detection the effect of the AgNPs on the ontogenesis of the rat cerebellum after exposure of AgNPs during pregnancy. we used 60 female pregnant rats divided in to three group, each contain 20 female, (G1) treated with 2mg/kg /day suspension of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) (G2) treated with 20mg/kg/day AgNPs from first da

The efficiency of Paecilomyce farinosus as biocontrol to larve stage on second ad sixith instar larve of Trogoderma granarium (Everts)
...Show More Authors

The present study was conducted to determine the pathogenicity of Paecilomyces farinosus as biocontrol agents against Tragoderma granarium (khapra) under laboratory conditions with three concentrations ( 2.8 x 108 , 2.8 x 106 ,2.8 x104 spores/ ml). The laboratory results revealed that fungi showed it's higher pathogencity to larve stage on 2nd instar and 6th instar , although their capability differs according to the fungi concentrations this fungi caused higher mortality of 2nd larval instar 70% and 60% ,55% when it was used at concentrations 2 .8 x 106 ,2.8 x104 spores/ ml respectively. On the other hand on 6th larval instars 55% , 35% , 30% at concentrations ( 2.8 x 108 , 2.8 x 106 ,2.8 x104 spores/ ml) respectively, and the h
