This paper presents the Extended State Observer (ESO) based repetitive control (RC) for piezoelectric actuator (PEA) based nano-positioning systems. The system stability is proved using Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs), which guarantees the asymptotic stability of the system. The ESObased RC used in this paper has the ability to eliminate periodic disturbances, aperiodic disturbances and model uncertainties. Moreover, ESO can be tuned using only two parameters and the model free approach of ESO-based RC, makes it an ideal solution to overcome the challenges of nano-positioning system control. An accurate assessment of the pipes’ conditions is required for effective management of the trunk sewers. In this paper the semi-Markov model was developed and tested using the sewer dataset from the Zublin trunk sewer in Baghdad, Iraq, in order to evaluate the future performance of the sewer. For the development of this model the cumulative waiting time distribution of sewers was used in each condition that was derived directly from the sewer condition class and age data. The monogenean Gyrodactylus taimeni Ergens, 1971 was recorded in this study for the first time in Iraq from gills of the common carp Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758. The description and measurements of this parasite as well as illustration were given. In addition, a list of species of Gyrodactylus so far recorded from C. carpio in Iraq is also included together with a list of all other hosts recorded for each gyrodactylid species.

In this study, a new Azo ligand 5-((2-(1H-indol-2-yl)ethyl)diazinyl)-2-aminophenol is synthesized from a reaction of Tryptamine with 2-aminophenol. The ligand and their metal ion complexes Ni(II), Pd(II) , Pt(IV) and Au(III) have been synthesized and characterized by various analytical techniques, including elemental microanalysis, metal content, chloride-containing, measurement of electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, ¹H and ¹³C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectra (MS), and thermal analysis (TGA and DSC) curves. The DCS curve was used to calculate the thermodynamic parameters ΔH, ΔS, and ΔG. The characterization results promote the metal complexes of azo ligand structures. The results indicate that the
