Over the last few decades, many instructors have been trying all kinds of teaching methods, but without benefit. Nevertheless, in the 1986, a new technique is appeared which called K-W-L technique, it  is specified for reading comprehension passages because reading  skill is not easy matter for students for specific purposes (ESP).therefore, the K-W-L technique is a good one for thinking and experiences. To fulfill the aims and verify the hypothesis which reads as follows" it is hypothesized that there are no significant differences between the achievements of students who are taught according to K-W-L technique and those who are taught according to the traditional method

The  study  was  aims  to  evaluate  the  antimicrobial  acttvtty  of petroleum  ether extracts from  leaves , seeds and root of Zygophyllum fabago   , against   several   microorganisms  including   gram   negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa  & Escherichia coli), gram positive bacteria  (Staphylluwccus aureus  & Bacillus  subtilis),  in addition  to yeast (Candida  albicans).

This study included the effect of chronic exposure of different concentrations of sodium chloride on the freshwater Crustacean Daphinea pulex from the order of Cladocera. The concentrations used for the chronic exposure were( 0.1‰, 0.5‰, 1‰, 1.5‰, 2‰ )to investigate the effect on the some reproductive parameter which included mean number of eggs and juveniles produced per female and per clutch,and mean number of clutch per female which decline from (6.0) clutch/female in the control treatment to (3.0) clutch/female in (2‰) concentrations, as well as to investigate the number of females produce the clutches and we found only one female produced six cluthes in the( 2‰) concentration of sodium chlor

 The synthesis of complexes for (Ca+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2) with new ligand (5-C-dimethyl malonyl-pentulose-γ-lactone-2,3-enedibenzoate) (L) have been successfully prepared and characterized by (1H and 13CNMR, FTIR, (U.V-Vis) spectroscopy, Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (A.A.s), Molar conductivity measurements and Magnetic moment measurements, and the following general formula has been given for the prepared complexes [M(L)Cl2] where M = (Ca+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2, Hg+2),  L = (5-C-dimethyl malonyl-pentulose-γ-lactone-2,3-enedibenzoate).

    The objective of this work was to determine and compare the physiological changes in some: blood components (packed cell volume and hemoglobin) and plasma biochemical parameters (glucose, total protein, albumin, cholesterol and triglycerides) under 3 day of different types of stress: water deprivation, starvation, overcrowding and handling stress. Biological study was conducted in the botanical garden of the College of Education / Ibn Al-Haitham during the growing season 2006-2007 to determine the impact different date planting and variety in some morphological characteristics of the wheat plant Triticum astivum L.       Two varieties of Triticum aestivum L.: IPA99 and Abu-Ghraib , were cultivated in 4th , 25th of November and 9th of December .      The experiment was designed according to RCD in two replicates.       The results showed that cultivation of 4th November, gave rise to plants of high 74.66 cm, with the highest number of tillers which was 4.01 and the highest length of spike was 12.03

A new ligand [3(3(2chloroacetyl) thioureido)pyrazine-2-carboxyliIcacid](CPC)was synthesized by reaction of rized by imicro elmental analysis C.H.N.S.,FT-IR,UV-Vis and 1H-13CNMR spectra, some transition metals complex ofIthis ligand were Prepared and characterized byiFT-IR,UV-Vis spectra conductivity measurements magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From the obtained results the molecular formula of all prepared complexes were[M(CPC)2](M+2i=Mn. Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg),the proposedi geometrical structure for all complexes were as tetrahedral geometry except copper complex has square planer geometry.
