This study aims at discussing the theoretical and applicable parts of the reading comprehension to help the teachers of Arabic. This study shows that the students have a general weakness in reading comprehension. The researcher handles issues related to reading comprehension and to practicing exercises of the training strategies such as: dialogue, discussion, discussion questions, continuous training, group works. Such skills will be used to analyze a poem to see the level of the students’ reading comprehension and to develop the students’ skills. The study answers two questions:
1- What is the reading comprehension from a theoretical perspective?
2- How can we develop the skills of the reading comprehension from the practical

    This article aims to explore the importance of estimating the a semiparametric regression function ,where we suggest a new estimator beside the other combined estimators and then we make a comparison among them by using simulation technique . Through the simulation results we find  that the suggest estimator is the best with the first and second models ,wherealse for the third model we find Burman and Chaudhuri (B&C) is best.

In this work, optical system with elliptical aperture using point spread function was studied. This is due to its comparison with an optical system with a circular aperture. The present work deals with the theoretical study of intensity distribution within the image. In this work, a special formula was derived which is called the point spread function (PSF) by using a pupil function technique. The work deals with the limited optical system diffraction only (ideal system), and the system with focal shift. Also a graphic relation was founded between eccentricity and the best of focal depth given to at least (80%) of intensity.

   The research  includes the study and calculation of the modulation function of Optical Semiconductor Fractal  Modulator and spatial frequency for different values of Silicon modulator transmittance percentage(10%,35%,45%,58%),it found the relation between the modulation function of Silicon and spatial frequency, the exponential relation of all values of the transmittance , the best state of modulation function when the value of transmittance is T=58% ,also the research includes the study of the relation of transmittance with different values of refractive index of Silicon . Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is one of the geophysical methods that utilize electromagnetic waves in the detection of subjects below the surface to record relative position and shape of archaeological features in 2D and 3D. GPR method was applied in detecting buried archaeological structure in study area in a location within the University of Baghdad. GPR with 3D interpretation managed to locate buried objects at the depth of (1m) . GPR Survey has been carried (12) vertical lines and (5) horizontal lines using frequency antenna (500) MHZ .
