A new ligand containing a dioxime derivatives,(H2L)(1) Namely P-phenylenediamine–N, N'-bis (2-butylidine-3-one oxime) has been prepared by condensation reaction of 2, 3-butanedion mono oxime (2) with 1, 4–diaminobenzene. The titled ligand (H2L) was used to prepare some metal ions complexes namely Co (II), Ni (II) and Cu (II). This ligand and its complexes were confirmed by FT-ir,(UV-Vis.), mass spectroscopy,( 1 H, 13 CNMR) and elemental micro analysis (CHN), molar conductance, element content and melting point measurement. It was concluded that the geometry around Cu (II) and Co (II) complexes were distorted tetrahedral geometry while Ni (II) complex was a square planer.
The entire investigation's focus was on the production of nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiONPs), using prodigiosin pigments produced by Serratia marcescens as a stabilizing and reducing agent. Nickel oxide nanoparticles are synthesized using nickel sulfate NiSO4 (10mg) with a concentration of prodigiosin (10g/100ml). Biosynthesized NiO nanoparticles have been characterized by using many techniques, such as (UV-Vis, AFM, XRD, FTIR, and FE-SEM). The AFM analysis revealed that NiONPs have an average diameter size of (41.77 mm), and the FE-SEM Image displays Spherical. Additionally, the effect of NiONPs with different concentrations on the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa was measured and the inhibition

Periodontitis is a destructive chronic disease of the periodontium initiated in response to a dysbiotic microbiome, and dominated by Gram-negative bacteria in the subgingival niches accompanied by an aberrant immune response in susceptible subjects. Both EMT and periodontitis share common risk factors and drivers, including Gram-negative bacteria, excess inflammatory cytokine production, smoking, oxidative stress and diabetes mellitus. In addition, periodontitis is characterized by down-regulation of key epithelial markers such as E-cadherin together with up-regulation of

The reaction of these ligands and the azido coligand with some metal ions resulted in the formation of polymeric complexes of general formulae [Cr2(Ln)(N3)4]Cl2·H2O and [M2(Ln)(N3)4] xH2O, where (M = Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II); n = 1, 2; x = 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 1, and 1, respectively.) The oxygens of the carboxylato group are coordinated to the metal ion in a bidentate fashion. The mode of bonding and overall geometry of the complexes were determin

The results presented in this work demonstrated that the leaves extract showed a significant effect against bacteria as compared to the root and fruit extracts at 100 mg/ml concentration, with inhibition zone ranging from 12.0 to 30.7 mm in each bacteria strain. The end results of GC-MS analysis indicated that the ethanol extracts of caper have a lot of active chemical compounds, including twenty-five, eighty-two and sixty-eight phytoconstituent compounds, that are distinguished in the extracts of roots, leaves and fruits with C. spinosa L. respectively. Objective: To purify donkey lactoferrin, and evaluate antibiotic resisted Serratia liquefaciens which producing Intl gene and investigate the inhibitory action of lactoferrin on biofilm and stimulate immune response.
Methods: lactoferrin extracted from donkey milk, and purified by ammonium sulfate and Sephadex chromatography. Antibacterial and antibiofilm activities of lactoferrin on Serratia liquefaciens were assayed, and effect of lactoferrin on the innate immune response of mice was determined.
Results: Lactoferrin contains 9.88% carbohydrates, 128 ppm iron, and molecular weight was 8
ABSTRACT. 4-Sulfosalicylic acid (SSA) was used as a ligand to prepare new triphenyltin and dimethyl-tin complexes by condensation with the corresponding organotin chloride salts. The complexes were identified by different techniques, such as infrared spectra (tin and proton), magnetic resonance, and elemental analyses. The 119Sn-NMR was studied to determine the prepared complexes' geometrical shape. Two methods examined the antioxidant activity of (SSA) and prepared complexes; Free radical scavenging activity (DPPH) and CUPRRAC methods. Tri and di-tin complexes gave high percentage inhibition than ligands with both methods due to tin moiety; the triphenyltin carboxylate complex was the best compared with the others. Also, antibacter
