Genetic Diversity and Polymorphism of Eucalyptus L՚He҆r Speciesby ITS Sequence
...Show More Authors

Genus Eucalyptus belongs to the family Myrtaceae that consists of more than 700 species, various hybrids and varieties. The majorly distributed species that are grown in Iraq are Eucalyptus alba, E. macarthurii, E. siderophloia and E. camaldulensis, E. tereticornis, E. vicina. Most Eucalyptus species are highly dependent on rainfall, and this is challenged by climatic changes owing to global warming making it difficult to effectively match the availability of mature trees and the market demand, especially for use as power transmission poles. With the widespread availability of other naturally occurring Eucalyptus species, it has become important to determine the genetic diversity and to analyze the phenotypic tra

Design of L-Band Multiwavelength Laser for TDM/WDM PON Application
...Show More Authors

This paper presents on the design of L-Band Multiwavelength laser for Hybrid Time Division Multiplexing/ Wavelength Division Multiplexing (TDM/WDM) Passive Optical Network (PON) application. In this design, an L-band Mulltiwavelength Laser is designed as the downstream signals for TDM/WDM PON. The downstream signals ranging from 1569.865 nm to 1581.973 nm with 100GHz spacing. The multiwavelength laser is designed using OptiSystem software and it is integrated into a TDM/WDM PON that is also designed using OptiSystem simulation software. By adapting multiwavelength fiber laser into a TDM/WDM network, a simple and low-cost downstream signal is proposed. From the simulation design, it is found that the proposed design is suitable to be used

Isolation and Identification of Anthraquinones Extracted From Morinda Citrifolia L. (Rubiaceae)
...Show More Authors

The purpose of the study was to isolate the anthraquinone fractions from the fruit, leaves and roots of Morinda citrifolia. Anthraquinones extracts from the fruit, leaves and roots of M. citrifolia exhibited six red bands for the fruit, five for the leaves and four for the roots under UV light at wavelength 245 nm and 356 nm exhibited strong absorption bands at 3408.83, 3275.52 and 3308.88 cm-1 for anthraquinone extract from the fruit, leaves and roots of M. citrifolia respectively identified by O-H stretching. C-H stretching groups were detected at the bands 2954.74 and 2857.38 cm-1 (fruit), 2928.13 cm-1 (leaf), 2922.31cm-1 and 2852.95 cm-1 (root). The C=O group of M. citrifolia fruit were detected at the band 1726.27 cm-1, leaves at 1600.

Hydrochemistry of Groundwater in Northeast Part of Anbar Governorate – West of Iraq
...Show More Authors

A groundwater quality assessment has been carried out in northeast part of Anbar governorate in western Iraq. We analyzed hydrochemical parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids presence of ions to describe groundwater quality. The study area has the only confined aquifer within the geological formation extended in area. Values of groundwater hydrochemical parameters were ranged from (7) to (7.9) for ph, (1599) to (6800) µmhos/cm for electrical conductivity (EC) and (1048) to (4446) mg/l for total dissolved solids (TDS). The origins and types of groundwater in the area were of marine origin and MgCl2 water type while only (6) samples were of continental origin and Na2SO4 wate

The aim of this study was to making an analytical study in some kinematics variables in (200) meter breaststroke swimming to first ranking in championship 2003 – Spanish. The swimming in our country still suffering from several obstruction with retarded it’s development for the better since the investigators observe the insufficiency of swimming in our country to any analytical study for the international champions, this led to no specific and scientific discovering to these advanced levels as the estimation of the value of performance from the Iraqi coaches dependent on personality observation dependent on their opinion without referring to the specific and scientific diction. The investigators dependent on several kinematics variables

Abstract
Agricultural investment is one of the main requirements in most economies of the world for its importance in the development of the agricultural sector through the agricultural and technological infrastructure and agricultural research, as well as its impact on most economic, social and service activities, especially if managed and employed scientifically, which generates income and productive capacities and services and new commodities, Unemployed as agricultural investments in Iraq fell significantly after 2003 due to economic, political, social

Study The Predation Efficiency of Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens)(Neuroptera :Chrysopidae) Larvae in Controlling Nymphs and Adults of Cabbage Aphid Brevicoryne brassicae (L.) (Homoptera :Aphididae).
...Show More Authors

Results showed high efficiency of the predator Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) to attack and consume nymphal instars and adults of cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae (L.).The total average of the nymphal instars consumed by the larval stage of predator were 308.67, 285.9, 198.77, 154.7 for 1st ,2nd ,3rd ,4th nymphal instars respectively .While it was 110,107.9 for apterae and alatae respectively . Also, predation efficiency increases with the progress of the larval instars up to the third (last) which was the most voracious .The 1st instar nymph consumed by the larvae of the predator were 47,80,181.67 nymphs ,with predation rate of 14.71% , 23.75% and 50.13% for 1st ,2nd and 3rd larval instars

IMMUNONOLOGICAL EVALUATION AND ACUTE TOXICITY STUDY WITH FERTILITY EXAMINATION FOR THE EFFECT OF AQUEOUS EXTRACT FROM DRIED FRUITS OF Piper nigrum L. IN MICE
...Show More Authors

The research work was conducted to investigate the effect of oral administration of water extract of black pepper at doses of (1, 5) mg/kg body weight for two weeks daily by determining the genotoxic effect (mitotic index), evaluation of immunological effect (IgG, IgM, IgA, C3, C4) and measuring fertility hormones (follicles stimulation hormone/FSH, lutenising hormone/LH) levels with histopathological examinations of female albino swiss mice ovaries in comparison with control (normal saline). A clear effect in increasing mitotic activity was reveled for both doses in comparison with control. Results also showed a significant increase in the value of the all immunological parameters at both doses in comparison with control. Also obvious rais
