Differential equations play a role in Applied Physics; it’s not always feasible to find analytical solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations when dealing with certain phenomena. In this instance, we provide series solutions using a semi-analytical approach. These approaches’ solutions are looked for as series. The basic principle of semi-analytical approaches is to determine the series’ other terms from specified initial conditions. Some semi-analytic techniques can achieve extremely good convergence with only a few series terms, but other issues may require more terms to improve convergence to the analytical solution. This study uses the Variational Iteration Adomian Decomposition Method (VIADM) to investigate the convergence of approximate-analytical solutions of certain kinds of nonlinear differential equations.
Simulation of direct current (DC) discharge plasma using
COMSOL Multiphysics software were used to study the uniformity
of deposition on anode from DC discharge sputtering using ring and
disc cathodes, then applied it experimentally to make comparison
between film thickness distribution with simulation results. Both
simulation and experimental results shows that the deposition using
copper ring cathode is more uniformity than disc cathode
Background: Urinary incontinence (UI) is a common disorder that affects women of various ages and impacts all aspects of life. This condition negatively influences quality of life. Fractional CO2 laser (10600nm) is the recent method for treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women. Objectives: The purpose of the study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of fractional CO2 laser (10600nm) in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence. Materials & Methods: This study was done from July 2020 to February 2021conducted at the laser institute for postgraduate studies university of Baghdad, patients collected from a private clinic and the Department of

One of the most common models used to represent time series that have a long memory is the ARFIMA (Auto Regressive Fractional Integration Moving Average Model) which diffs are a fractional number called the fractional parameter. To analyze and determine the ARFIMA model, the fractal parameter must be estimated. There are many methods for fractional parameter estimation. In this research, the estimation methods were divided into indirect methods, where the Hurst parameter is estimated fir

We provide several examples to support our conclusions. the results of the solutions process showed that the suggested approach is highly simple, dependable, and effective. The outcomes demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of current technology in solving a variety of applied scientific nonlinear challenges. All of the calculations and visualizations were done using the MATLAB R2024B software. In Caputo Sense, fractional derivatives are mentioned. Additionally, a graphical representation of the solutions to a few cases was created. Solution graphs are displayed for problems

Show MoreBragg Reflectors consist of periodic dielectric layers having an optical path length of quarter wavelength for each layer giving them important properties and makes them suitable for optoelectronics applications. The reflectivity can be increased by increasing the number of layers of the mirror to get the required value. For example for an 8 layers Bragg mirror (two layers for each dielectric pair), the contrast of the refractive index has to be equal to 0.275 for reaching reflectivity > 99%. Doubling the number of layers results in a reflectivity of 99.99%. The high reflectivity is purely caused by multiple-interference effects. It can be analyzed by using different matrix methods such as the transfer matrix method (TMM) which is the

Show MoreDespite their potential as a sustainable energy technology, the operation of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) in sub-freezing conditions remains a critical challenge due to the risk of ice formation and performance degradation. This study introduces a new passive thermal management technique using strategically arranged multi-layer phase change materials (PCMs) to address this challenge. A numerical model was developed to evaluate the thermal behavior across various PCM configurations, incorporating one, two, and three layers arranged both in parallel and series with distinct melting points ranging from 55 to 65 ◦C. The results show that multi-layer PCM configurations provide significant improvements over the single-layer base
