Introduction: Attention is a fundamental cognitive function in sports, particularly in volleyball, where players must process multiple stimuli and make rapid decisions. Effective attentional control can enhance an athlete’s ability to react to dynamic game situations. The nomination of ideas strategy. Objective: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the nomination of ideas strategy in enhancing divided and selective attention and its subsequent impact on volleyball skill performance. Methodology: A controlled experimental design was employed, involving volleyball players divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group integrated the nomination of ideas strategy into their training sessions, while the control group followed traditional training methods. Pre- and post-tests were conducted to assess selective attention, divided attention, and volleyball skill performance, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive and motor improvements. Discussion: The findings reveal that the experimental group exhibited significant improvements in both selective and divided attention, leading to enhanced volleyball skill performance compared to the control group. This suggests that implementing cognitive strategies such as the nomination of ideas can positively influence attentional focus, enabling athletes to process information more efficiently and execute complex skills with greater precision. Conclusion: The study underscores the value of integrating cognitive training techniques into sports practice to optimize both mental and physical performance. The nomination of ideas strategy proved to be an effective tool for improving attentional control and volleyball skills. Future research should investigate its long-term effects and potential applications across different sports and athlete populations.
Many biological tests were done to study the effect of the crude alcoholic leaves extracts on the biological characteristics at the larvae fruit fly Ceratitis capitata with different concentrations of the extracts exposed 1,2,3,5 and 7.5 % at constant laboratory conditions includes the temperature and the relative humidity (27±2C0&70±5 % respectively). The results of the experiments showed that the alcoholic extracts of the plant effected the growth and the development of the larvae and pupae according to the concentrations . The alcoholic extracts proved to have the highest mortality tend to 66.76 % in larva treated with alcoholic at concentration 7.5 % the

A total of 100 Brown Lohmann laying hen chickens, 38 weeks of age, were randomly distributed into four treatment groups, with 25 hens for each treatment. Treatment groups were: T1: bird-fed diet with no additional arginine (control group); T2, T3, and T4: bird-fed diet supplemented with 0.4, 0.7, and 0.9%, respectively. Therefore, the total amounts of arginine in the four treatments (T1, T2, T3, and T4) become 1.1, 1.5, 1.8, and 2.0%, respectively. Results of this experiment rev

Its exact etiology is not known, although several evidences indicate that various elements might play an important role in pre-eclampsia. This study was carried out to analyze and to compare the concentration of calcium, in mild pre-eclampsia and in normal pregnant women , and to determine the effect of oral supplementation with calcium on mild pre-eclampsia , and whether this effect is related to the change in the level of serum calcium. Forty- five women in the third trimester of pregnancy were selected to participate in this study and divided into: fifteen apparently healthy, normo

Background: Fractional CO2 laser is an effective surface treatment of zirconia ceramic, as it increases the bonding strength of zirconia to resin cement. Methods: Thirty sintered zirconia discs (10 mm diameter, 2 mm thickness) were prepared and divided to three groups (N=10) and five diffident pulse durations were used in each group (0.1, 0.5, 1, 5 and 10 ms). Group A was treated with 10 W power setting, group B with 20 W and group C with 30 W. During laser irradiation, temperature elevation measurement was recorded for each specimen.
