Analyzing and tracking the data of the millions sized gatherings for the Arba'in visit and proposing alternative ways to relieve congestion using spatial analysis algorithms

The city of Karbala is one of the most important holy places for visitors and pilgrims from the Islamic faith, especially through the Arabian visit, when crowds of millions gather to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein. Offering services and medical treatments during this time is very important, especially when the crowds head to their destination (the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (a.s)). In recent years, the Arba'in visit has witnessed an obvious growth in the number of participants. The biggest challenge is the health risks, and the preventive measures for both organizers and visitors. Researchers identified various challenges and factors to facilitating the Arba'in visit. The purpose of this research is to deal with the religious and cultural events that occur during the Arba'in visit in Iraq by providing optimal and alternatives routes, and strategic resting points along the way from all cites to Karbala. This research depends on data analysis and artificial intelligence methods to determine the best routes and determine locations of the rest points accurately and effectively. These aims will be accomplished by analysing population distribution and potential paths. For the purpose of providing the best rest points on the proposed roads and decreasing the crowds within these stations, the rest stations are divided into two categories: main stations and sub-stations. The main stations contain services such as: rest places, accommodation, health and awareness services, in addition to providing food and drink; whereas the sub-stations comprise only rest places, sleep, food and drink. The correction of the line profiles for x-ray diffraction peaks by using three analysis methods

In this study used three methods such as Williamson-hall, size-strain Plot, and Halder-Wagner to analysis x-ray diffraction lines to determine the crystallite size and the lattice strain of the nickel oxide nanoparticles and then compare the results of these methods with two other methods. The results were calculated for each of these methods to the crystallite size are (0.42554) nm, (1.04462) nm, and (3.60880) nm, and lattice strain are (0.56603), (1.11978), and (0.64606) respectively were compared with the result of Scherrer method (0.29598) nm,(0.34245),and the Modified Scherrer (0.97497). The difference in calculated results Observed for each of these methods in this study.

Laser Detection and Tracking System Using an Array of Photodiodes with Fuzzy Logic controller

In this work laser detection and tracking system (LDTS) is designed and implemented using a fuzzy logic controller (FLC). A 5 mW He-Ne laser system and an array of nine PN photodiodes are used in the detection system. The FLC is simulated using MATLAB package and the result is stored in a lock up table to use it in the real time operation of the system. The results give a good system response in the target detection and tracking in the real time operation.

Quantitative analysis and control of the torque profile of the upper limb using a kinetic model and motion measurements
