Objectives: To assess the feasibility and accuracy of a new prototype robotic implant system for the placement of zygomatic implants in edentulous maxillary models. Methods: The study was carried out on eight plastic models. Cone beam computed tomographs were captured for each model to plan the positions of zygomatic implants. The hand-eye calibration technique was used to register the dynamic navigation system to the robotic spaces. A total of 16 zygomatic implants were placed, equally distributed between the anterior and the posterior parts of the zygoma. The placement of the implants (ZYGAN®, Southern Implants) was carried out using an active six-jointed robotic arm (UR3e, Universal Robots) guided by the dynamic navigation coordinate transformation matrix. The accuracy of the implant placement was assessed using EvaluNav and GeoMagicDesignX® software based on pre- and post-operative CBCT superimposition. Descriptive statistics for the implant deviations and Pearson’s correlation analysis of these deviations to force feedback recorded by the robotic arm were conducted. Results: The 3D deviations at the entry and exit points were 1.80 ± 0.96 mm and 2.80 ± 0.95 mm, respectively. The angular deviation was 1.74 ± 0.92◦. The overall registration time was 23.8 ± 7.0 min for each side of the model. Operative time excluding registration was 66.8 ± 8.8 min for each trajectory. The exit point and angular deviations of the implants were positively correlated with the drilling force perpendicular to the long axis of the handpiece and negatively correlated with the drilling force parallel to the long axis of the handpiece. Conclusion: The errors of the dynamic navigation-guided robotic placement of zygomatic implants were within the clinically acceptable limits. Further refinements are required to facilitate the clinical application of the tested integrated robotic-dynamic navigation system. Clinical significance: Robotic placement of zygomatic implants has the potential to produce a highly predictable outcome irrespective of the operator’s surgical experience or fatigue. The presented study paves the way for clinical applications.
A gracious invitation was extended to us on 9/11/2002 AD, by the University of Tikrit / the Preparatory Committee, for a symposium (Sheikh Daoud Al-Tikriti, and his Scientific Effects), to participate in it.
The symposium was scheduled to be held on the 25th and 26th of March 2003 AD, but God Almighty decreed that our country be occupied, so the Preparatory Committee set another date for the symposium on 10/21/2003 AD.
It was not possible for the symposium to be held until 25-26/4/2004 AD, and many researchers attended, who were assigned to investigate some manuscripts of Sheikh Dawood (may God have mercy on him) or to write about his personal and scientific biography.
And God (Glory be to Him) did not enable us to attend, becau
The paradigm and domain of data security is the key point as per the current era in which the data is getting transmitted to multiple channels from multiple sources. The data leakage and security loopholes are enormous and there is need to enforce the higher levels of security, privacy and integrity. Such sections incorporate e-administration, long range interpersonal communication, internet business, transportation, coordinations, proficient correspondences and numerous others. The work on security and trustworthiness is very conspicuous in the systems based situations and the private based condition. This examination original copy is exhibiting the efficacious use of security based methodology towards the execution with blockchain

Some design experts have described the new parametric procedures they are introducing to create new interior projects as a radical transformation that carries all the elements of a qualitative shift in interior design. The best of these parametric procedures is the technical capabilities offered by us to create new forms that are different from what has been discussed in everything that has been produced by designers and architects since modernity and even before it to the present time, which returns our design products through a series of computer programs that perform the pro

The two controllers are designed for a Mass-Spring-Damper (MSD) system found in numerous applications to stabilize the MSD system performance and minimize the position tracking error of the system output. The state space model of the MSD system is first developed. Then, two meta-heuristic optimizations, Simulated Annealing (SA) optimization and Ant Colony (AC) optimization are utilized to optimize feedback gains matrix K of the PP and the weighting matrices Q and R of the LQR to make the MSD system reach stabilization and reduce the oscillation of the response. This paper represents a study of the effect of the soil type, the drilling parameters and the drilling tool properties on the dynamic vibrational behavior of the drilling rig and its assessment in the drilling system. So first, an experimental drilling rig was designed and constructed to embrace the numerical work.
The experimental work included implementation of the drill-string in different types of soil with different properties according to the difference in the grains size, at different rotational speeds (RPM), and different weights on bit (WOB) (Thrust force), in a way that allows establishing the charts that correlate the vibration acceleration, the rate of penetration (ROP), and the power

The concepts behind the ideas explored in the present study were discussed in respect to the subject matter. Examining the past state of the art in the intellectual capital sector for achieving high levels of innovation performance provided a multidimensional picture of intellectual capital, innovation performance, and dynamic capabilities. The present review was designed to illustrate the correlation between intellectual capital and innovation performance, as well as the role of dynamic capabilities in moderating the relationship between these constructs. Accordingly, we presented an extensive

The interaction between implant material and surrounding tissues is believed to play a fundamental role in implant success and illustrates different expression of growth factors by different cells that involved in the formation of peri-implant tissue. The aim of this study was to localize expression of TGF B by newly formed bone tissue around surface-conditioned implants with placental collagen at different time intervals: 3 ,7,14,28, and 56 days . A non-valid assessment of the available bone height may lead to either perforation of the maxillary sinus floor or encroachment of the inferior alveolar nerve and consequently to implant failure. This study aimed to evaluate the reliability of surgeon’s decision in appraising the appropriate implant length, in respect to vital anatomical structures, using panoramic radiographs.
Only implants that are inserted in relation to the maxillary sinus (MS) or the mandibular canal (MC) were enrolled (firs
