Yusra Khalaf Hussein is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Language at the University of Baghdad. She holds a PhD in Modern Arabic Literature and Criticism from the University of Baghdad. She has extensive academic experience in modern Arabic literature and has contributed several specialized critical works, most notably Intertextuality in the Poetry of Hamid Saeed and Islamic Religious Texts in the Tales of One Thousand and One Nights. She has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed academic journals and has supervised many master’s theses and doctoral dissertations. She actively participates in academic and cultural committees at the University of Baghdad and is a member of the Arab Writers Union, contributing to the development of academic programs and the promotion of Arab literary and cultural life.
