Summary

Ahmed Hussein Saihood is a faculty member in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy -University of Baghdad. He showed exceptional leadership potential with his participation and completion of the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) in 2018. He received his master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy in 2020 from the same institution. He has three prior publications in scopus-indexed journals. Through his seminars and workshops, he showed a special interest in psychopharmacology, clinical practice, and patient-centered care.

Research Interests

My research work thus far revolved around the role of pharmacists in general and of clinical pharmacists specifically. I have researched healthcare professionals' attitudes toward pharmacists; I have evaluated pharmacists knowledge regarding specific drug indications, and we are currently exploring the independent prescribing practice in Iraq.

Assessment of the Clinical Pharmacists' Role by Physicians at Baghdad Hospitals
