AusIMM membership since 2014 -present. ACTRA membership (Australasian College of Toxicology and Risk Assessment) 2015 -present. Runner up for Student Prize 2015 from Australasian College of Toxicology and Risk Assessment (ACTRA).The ACTRA student prize is offered for outstanding research efforts in the field of toxicology and/or risk assessment, or ecotoxicology. Orally presented work (Toxicity Evaluation of Copper and Zinc Cyanide Complexes Using Euglena gracilis Z and SMZ as an in-vivo Model) at the ACTRA ASM and presented with a certificate at the conference.

Research Interests

My research was a study of the toxicity of free cyanide and its metal complexes generated from mining activities by using Euglena gracilis as a cell model for this study. The study focuses on potential ecological health impact particularly to birds.
