للدراسات التاريخية أهميتها ولاسيما دراسة المؤلفات الذي يعطينا صورة كاملة عن تطور الواقع التاريخي للمرحلة التي عاصرها المؤلف وتكتب دراسة الشخصيات العلمية طابعاً خاصاً ومهم يدفعنا إلى التعريف بالمؤرخ ومنهجه في الكتاب والموارد التي استقى معلوماتهِ منها . 

ازدهرت الحركة العلمية في العصر العباسي الاول(123-232هـ/750-847م)، حيث شهدت تطورا كبيرا في مختلف مجالات العلوم والمعارف بسبب اهتمام الخلفاء العباسيين بالعلم والعلماء وتشجيعهم لهم والسخاء عليهم .

بين البحث أنَّ دلالة اللفظ من المنطوق، واللفظ إذا ورد من الشارع يجب حمله على مفهومه الشرعي كالصلاة تحمل على مفهوم الشرع وهي الأفعال الخاصة، فإن لم يكن للشرع فيه مفهوم حمل على مفهومه بحسب العرف.
