This study aimed to Isolation and identification with molecular detection of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) isolated from imported (frozen) and local (fresh) meat using selective media, biochemical tests, VITECK 2 technology, and conventional PCR with sequencing. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of adding resveratrol on fat oxidation and some qualitative and microbial characteristics of ground beef cold storage at 2 C° for 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 d. All resveratrol treatments significantly increased myoglobin concentration as compared with control treatment during cold storage periods. There was a significant decrease in peroxide value (PV) (P<0.05), the percentage of the drip loss and cooking loss between the different treatments as compared with control treatment during cold storage periods. Resveratrol treatments also significantly (P˂0.05) reduced the numbers of psychrophilic bacteria during cold storage periods.

A new simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method is described for quantification of Nifedipine (NIF) and their pharmaceutical formulation. The selective method was performed by the reduction of NIF nitro group to yield primary amino group using zinc powder with hydrochloric acid. The produced aromatic amine was submitted to oxidative coupling reaction with pyrocatechol and ammonium ceric nitrate to form orange color product measured spectrophotometrically with maximum absorption at 467nm. The prepared complexes have been characterized, identified on the basis of elemental analysis (C.H.N), atomic absorption, molar conductivity, molar-ratio ,pH effect study, I. Rand UV spectra studies.
