The objective of this work was to study the influence of weight percentage
ratios of (Unsaturated Polyester/Poly vinyl chloride) blends and E-glass
fibre content on the diffusion coefficients of the blends from the
relationship between water weight gain Mt and diffusivity for water
immersed samples. Unreinforced and reinforced ( by one or two layers of
chopped E-glass fibers) samples were prepared by hand lay up method
with the ratios (95%UPE+5%PVC, 90%UPE+10%PVC and
%85UPE+15%PVC), the prepared samples were immersed for 60 days in
water to get the absorption curves. The results of laboratory examinations
show the absorption curves of water gain Mt against the square root of the

INTRUSION DETECTION USING A MIXED FEATURES FUZZY CLUSTERING ALGORITHM
...Show More Authors

Proliferation of network systems and growing usage of Internet make network
security issue to be more important. Intrusion detection is an important factor in keeping
network secure. The main aim of intrusion detection is to classify behavior of a system
into normal and intrusive behaviors. However, the normal and the attack behaviors in
networks are hard to predict as the boundaries between them cannot be well distinct.
This paper presents an algorithm for intrusion detection that combines both fuzzy C
Means (FCM) and FCM for symbolic features algorithms in one. Experimental results
on the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Cup 1999 (KDD cup 99) intrusion
detection dataset show that the average detection rate of

Weibull distribution is one of the most widely used distributions of
lifetime in reliability engineering. It has the ability to provide reasonably
accurate failure analysis and failure forecasts especially with extremely
small samples. Bayesian approach has received a lot of attention along
with the traditional methods of estimation such as maximum likelihood
and moment estimation methods. The object of the present paper is to
compare some Bayes' estimators for the scale Parameter of the Weibull
reliability function using different loss functions, based on Jeffrey prior

The use of varied quantities of orphenadrine to protect stainless steel against corrosion in an acidic media at 298 K has been investigated. It was observed that when the drug's concentration is increased, the drug's speed of corrosion lowers. The data of inhibition efficiency (percent IE) in the presence of orphenadrine drug and corrosion resistance showed that the highest protection efficiency was achieved with the best concentration, and that the corrosion rate decreased with increasing orphenadrine drug concentrations, making it a good inhibitor for stainless steel in an acidic environment. The theoretical investigation proved the efficiency of the drug for inhibition, as the drug is absorbed on the surface of the stainless st

Using Multi-Objective Bat Algorithm for Solving Multi-Objective Non-linear Programming Problem
...Show More Authors

Human beings are greatly inspired by nature. Nature has the ability to solve very complex problems in its own distinctive way. The problems around us are becoming more and more complex in the real time and at the same instance our mother nature is guiding us to solve these natural problems. Nature gives some of the logical and effective ways to find solutions to these problems. Nature acts as an optimized source for solving the complex problems.  Decomposition is a basic strategy in traditional multi-objective optimization. However, it has not yet been widely used in multi-objective evolutionary optimization.

Any research focusing on the teaching-learning process must focus on the learner, by mobilizing the various devices to facilitate and optimize learning. In this context, we introduce the integration of educational technologies into a personal learning environment (PLE). The PLE has significant potential for learning; namely self-construction and self-management of knowledge. According to Attwel (2007b), the development and improvement of PLE will lead to drastic changes in the way we use educational technology, as well as in the organization and ethics of education. With the present contribution, we try to modelize the PLE of students within institutions of higher education in Morocco. Based on data from a questionnaire put online using

The Dual Notion of St-Polyform Modules

The concept of St-Polyform modules, was introduced and studied by Ahmed in [1], where a module M is called St-polyform, if for every submodule N of M and for any homomorphism 𝑓:N M; ker𝑓 is St-closed submodule in N. The novelty of this paper is to dualize this class of modules, the authors call it CSt-polyform modules, and according to this dualizations, some results which appeared in [1] are dualized for example we prove that in the class of hollow modules, every CSt-polyform module is coquasi-Dedekind. In addition, several important properties of CSt-polyform module are established, and other characterization of CSt-polyform is given.
