The study attempts to identify 1) the habits of playing video games among students, 2) the effect of playing video games on students’ academic achievement, 3) the statistically significant differences among students in regard of (gender, time of playing video games, number of hours). To this end, a five-likert scale questionnaire included four questions was applied to (250) male and female students chosen randomly from the second-intermediate stage at Al-Karakh side secondary schools. In the present work, different remote sensing techniques have been used to analyze remote sensing data spectrally using ENVI software. The majority of algorithms used in the Spectral Processing can be organized as target detection, change detection and classification. In this paper several methods of target detection have been studied such as matched filter and constrained energy minimization.
The water body mapping have been obtained and the results showed changes on the study area through the period 1995-2000. Also the results that obtained from applying constrained energy minimization were more accurate than other method comparing with the real situation.

Two grades of paving asphalt with penetration of 46 and 65 are studied for determining changes in their physical and chemical properties caused by ageing.
The ageing process has been conducted on two petroleum paving asphalt cement using thin film oven test at 150, 163 and 175 C, and ageing time 5, 10,15, 20, 25 and 30 hours. The effect of ageing time and temperature on penetration, kinematic viscosity, softening point, solubility in trichloroethylene, heat loss and changes in chemical composition are investigated.
