Methods and Means of public relation in dealing with Bureaucracy
...Show More Authors

The importance of Public Relations activity has increased during the last half of the last century as a specialized and modern administrative function in most institutions. It has, moreover, become an integral part of activities of those institutions of various types, due to its pivotal role in building its reputation and drawing a good mental image among its audiences, as well as its influential and basic role in maintaining communication and the communication between its members at its various levels and their job tasks to ensure the greatest amount of understanding and to enhance trust between them. This is why public relations activity has become indispensable in all institutions, and without it, it is difficult to achieve any coordi

THE IMPACT OF NEW TARGETING METHODS IN THE CANCER THERAPY
...Show More Authors

Rapid development has achieved in treating tumor to stop malignant cell growth and metastasis in the past decade. Numerous researches have emerged to increase potency and efficacy with novel methods for drug delivery. The main objective of this literature review was to illustrate the impact of current new targeting methods to other previous delivering systems to select the most appropriate method in cancer therapy. This review first gave a brief summary of cancer structure and highlighted the main roles of targeting systems. Different types of delivering systems have been addressed in this literature review with focusing on the latest carrier derived from malarial protein. The remarkable advantages and main limitations of the later

MEASURING OBESITYLEVEL BY BIO-ELECTRICAL IMPEDANCE ANALYSIS TECHNIQUE AND COMPARED TO TRADITIONAL METHODS: MEASURING OBESITYLEVEL BY BIO-ELECTRICAL IMPEDANCE ANALYSIS TECHNIQUE AND COMPARED TO TRADITIONAL METHODS
...Show More Authors

This study aimed to determine obesity level of some population in Baghdad by using Bio-electrical impedance analysis (BIA) and compared with anthropometric measurements such as body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC) and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). Statistical analysis results of linear correlation coefficients for obesity indicators showed that BIA correlation 0.92 was most significant and reliable for obesity measurement.

Results of BIA method for age group 20-29 years showed that 44.4% of females were healthy body while 37.8% of males suffer from increased body fat. Results of age group 30-39 year showed that 32.6 of females were in healthy body and 42% of males were obese. In case age group 40-4

Studying the Electron Energy Distribution Function (EEDF) and Electron Transport Coefficients in SF6 – He Gas Mixtures by Solving the Boltzmann Equation
...Show More Authors

The Boltzmann equation has been solved using (EEDF) package for a pure sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas and its mixtures with buffer Helium (He) gas to study the electron energy distribution function EEDF and then the corresponding transport coefficients for various ratios of SF6 and the mixtures. The calculations are graphically represented and discussed for the sake of comparison between the various mixtures. It is found that the various SF6 – He content mixtures have a considerable effect on EEDF and the transport coefficients of the mixtures

Properties of Kumaraswamy binary Distribution and compare methods of estimating parameters
...Show More Authors

The recent development in statistics has made statistical distributions the focus of researchers in the process of compensating for some distribution parameters with fixed values and obtaining a new distribution, in this study, the distribution of Kumaraswamy was studied from the constant distributions of the two parameters. The characteristics of the distribution were discussed through the presentation of the probability density function (p.d.f), the cumulative distribution function (c.d.f.), the ratio of r, the reliability function and the hazard function. The parameters of the Kumaraswamy distribution were estimated using MLE, ME, LSEE by using the simulation method for different sampling sizes and using preli

Comparison of Different DEM Generation Methods based on Open Source Datasets
...Show More Authors

Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is one of the developed techniques for relief representation.  The definition of a DEM construction is the modeling technique of earth surface from existing data. DEM plays a role as one of the fundamental information requirement that has been generally utilized in GIS data structures. The main aim of this research is to present a methodology for assessing DEMs generation methods. The DEMs data will be extracted from open source data e.g. Google Earth. The tested data will be compared with data produced from formal institutions such as General Directorate of Surveying. The study area has been chosen in south of Iraq (Al-Gharraf / Dhi Qar governorate. The methods of DEMs creation are kri

Analysis of Structural Concrete Bar Members Based on Secant Stiffness Methods
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>In this paper, the behavior of structural concrete linear bar members was studied using numerical model implemented in a computer program written in MATLAB. The numerical model is based on the modified version of the procedure developed by Oukaili. The model is based on real stress-strain diagrams of concrete and steel and their secant modulus of elasticity at different loading stages. The behavior presented by normal force-axial strain and bending moment-curvature relationships is studied by calculating the secant sectional stiffness of the member. Based on secant methods, this methodology can be easily implemented using an iterative procedure to solve non-linear equations. A compari</p> ... Show More

Using Statistical Methods to Increase the Contrast Level in Digital Images
...Show More Authors

This research deals with the use of a number of statistical methods, such as the kernel method, watershed, histogram, and cubic spline, to improve the contrast of digital images. The results obtained according to the RSME and NCC standards have proven that the spline method is the most accurate in the results compared to other statistical methods.

Down Syndrome causes, symptoms, and most important methods of functional treatment
...Show More Authors

This study is descriptive and theory of Dawn syndrome as the problem of research lies in the need to identify the identification of the causes of Dawn syndrome and its symptoms and methods of dealing with it, which has become a problem that needs treatment, especially after the numbers have become high in Iraq, which has not yet taken the necessary importance for treatment and care.

The objectives of the research were summarized in the identification of the most important causes of Dawn syndrome and its symptoms and diagnosis and ways or methods of dealing with people with Dawn syndrome in order to develop therapeutic plans for him.
