Water samples were collected from output of water for Al-Wahda plant where located in al-karrada area in Baghdad city to study water contamination with bacteria, fungi and Algae. The study lasted one year started on August, 2016 to July,2017.Results were acquired according to two tests performed, the first is biological test included total coliform,E.coli, pseudomonas aeruginosa, total fungi, Diatom and non Diatom Algae and the second is physiochemical test included temperature, turbidity and residual chlorine. The present study evaluates the insecticidal activity of (Acetone, 80% Methanol and water) crude leaf extract of AdhatodavasicaagainstBemisiatabaci. The extracts of (Acetone, Methanol 80%) showed 100, 86.6% mortality of nymphsBemisiatabaci at 5% concentration. Then the extracts of (Acetone, Methanol 80%) showed 100, 90% mortality of pupaBemisiatabaci at 5% concentration. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of (Flavones, Volatiles oils, Tannins, Saponines, Glycosides, Alkaloids,Resins and Terpenoids)in methanol80% crude extract. It can be concluded that the acetone and methanol crude leaf extract of A. vasicaNees can cause mortality in (nymphs, pupa) Bemisiatabaci, so it can be used asinsecticides.

This study was conducted to describe a protocol for the callus establishing culture of Lavandula angustifolia plant and estimating their content of volatile oil. The quantity of volatile oil callus tissues was compared with that of leaves production. Callus was induced from leaf explants on Murashige and Skoog medium (MS) supplemented with Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and Benzyl adenine (BA) in different concentrations. Maximum callus fresh weight was obtained in the combination of 10 mg/L BA and 3 mg/L NAA which reached 18 g after four weeks. These isolates were identified to three Proteus spp. P. mirabilis, P. vulgaris and P. penneri .The ability of these bacteria to produce L-asparaginase II by using semi quantitative and quantitative methods was determined. This work describes an experimental setup to evaluate the photodynamictoxicity of 650 nm diode laser and 532 nm Frequency-doubled Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser on the growth of Candida albicans as well as the potential fungicidal effect when combining the laser irradiation with specific photosensitizers namely methylene blue, toluidine blue, acridine orange and safranin O.
