The experiment was conducted in the botanical garden of the Department of Life Sciences/ College of Education for Pure Sciences Ibn Al-Haitham for the growing season 2021- 2020 in order to study the effect of urea and NPK fertilizer on some physiological characteristics of watercress plants. The seeds were sown on 10/15/2020 in plastic bags weighing 10 kg of soil. The shoots were sprayed with urea at three concentrations (0, 50, 100) mg L-1 in two sprays, and NPK fertilizer was added as a ground addition at three levels (0, 100, 200) kg H-1 in two sprays in conjunction with urea spraying. The investigation of the effect of tempering on thermal analysis of
Al-Ti-Si alloy and its composites with MgO and SiC particles was
performed. Thermal analysis was performed before and after
tempering by DSC scan. Optical microscopy was used to identify the
phases and precipitations that may be formed in base alloy and
composites. X-ray diffraction test indicated that the Al3Ti is the main
phase in Al-Ti-Si alloy in addition to form Al5Ti7Si12 phase. Some
chemical reactions can be occurred between reinforcements and
matrix such as MgO.Al2O3 in Al-Ti/MgO, and Al4C3 and Al(OH)3 in

A polycrystalline CdTe film has been prepared by thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate at substrate temperature 423 K with 1.0 m thicknesses. The film was heated at various annealing temperature under vacuum (Ta =473, 523 and K). Some of physical properties of prepared films such as structural and optical properties were investigated. The patterns of X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the structure of CdTe powder and all films were polycrystalline and consist of a mixture of cubic and hexagonal phases and preferred orientation at (111) direction.
