The area of study is located at southern east of Karbala governorate, in basin of Dibdiba formation (upper Miocene-Pliocene), between longitudes (43ο 57' 34.2" & 44ο 09' 49.2ʺ) and latitudes (32ο 23' 16.4" & 32ο 36' 03.2"), this area about ( 336 ) km2. It is consists the geochemical and hydrochemical studies of heavy elements (Co, Ni, Mn, Cd, Pb, Zn, Fe) and (B+3) and measure the concentration of elements from samples of groundwater of 16 wells. The effect of using different R -molar ratio under variable reaction conditions (acidic as well as basic environment and reaction temperature) have been studied. The overall experiments are driven with open and closed systems. The study shows that there is an optimum value for a minimum gelling time at R equal 2. The gelling time for all studied open system found to be shorter than in closed system. In acidic environment and when R value increased from 2 to 10, the gelling time of closed systems has increased four times than open systems at T=30 ?C and fourteen times when temperature reaction increased to 60 ?C. While in basic environment the influence of increasing R value was limited.

This research investigated the effect of adding two groups of reinforcement materials, including bioactive materials Hydroxyapatite (HA) and halloysite nanoclay and bioinert materials Alumina (AL2O3) and Zirconia (ZrO2), each of them with various weight ratios (1,2,3,4 &5)% to the polymer matrix PMMA.
