An experiment was conducted at the laboratories of College of Agriculture – Kerbala University during 2016. The aim of this study was to the effect of water extracts of medicinal plants germination percentage and development of plumule and radicle growth .The completely randomized design with three replicates was usedin each experiment consisted of water extracts (T1= Distilled water),(T2= Eruca sativa Eruca sativa L),(T3= Fenugreek ﺍﻟﺤﻠﺒﺔTrigonella foenum - graecum L),(T4= Sweet FennelFoeniculum vulgare.Mill),(T5=Borage Anchusa strigosa Lab),(T6=Dill Anethum graveolens L) ,(T7=Black cuminNigella Sativa L),(T8=Cumin Cuminumcyminum L),(T9=  CorianderCoriandrum sativum L. ). The current study dealt with the effect of water extract of pomegranate peel plant on Oscillatoria amoena growth  that isolated from Diwaniya river, The effect of the pomegranate extract was measured by calculating the total number of cells and the absorbance values of the alga. Three concentrations were used 3.5, 7 and 14 mg/ml from extract of pomegranate fruit peel in addition to the control group. The results showed that exposing the alga to concentrate 14 mg/ml led to lower growth sharply, while the rest of the concentrations 3.5 and 7 mg/ml also decreased the growth gradually. The absorbance values showed a decline similar to the number of cells during the period of the exposure.

A land magnetic survey was carried out along regional profile, which is located at the north part of the Iraqi western desert. It starts from al –Qaam City (at north) toward Rutba City (at south) with a total length of 238km. The survey was carried out along the paved road between the two cities, About 113 measuring points were done with inter-station distance of 2 km (for 198 km) and 2 to 5km (for 40km). Two proton magnetometers were used in this survey. One of them is used for base station monitoring, which was fixed as of Salah Aldin field (Akkas). Its readings were used for diurnal corrections.
