Titanium dioxide nanorods have been prepared by sol-gel template
method. The structural and surface morphology of the TiO₂ nanorods was
investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy
(AFM), it was found that the nanorods produced were anatase TiO₂ phase.
The photocatalytic activity of the TiO2 nanorods was evaluated by the
photo degradation of methyl orange (MO). The relatively higher
degradation efficiency for MO (D%=78.2) was obtained after 6h of exposed
to UV irradiation.

This method depends on measuring absorbance at two wavelengths, 296 nm and 278 nm, which correspond to the λ_max of VCS and BSA in deionized water, respectively. Noor Oil Field is one of Iraqi oil fields located in Missan province / Amarah city. This field is not subjected to licensing rounds, but depends on the national effort of  Missan Oil Company. The first two wells in the field were drilled in seventies and were  not opened to production until 2009. The aim of this study is to study the possibility of using the method of gas lift to increase the productivity of this field .
