Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) bars have several advantages over traditional steel reinforcement, including low density, erosion resistance, and higher tensile strength. The ACI 440.11-22 code permits CFRP as reinforcement; however, there are limited experimental studies on its application in Reinforced Concrete (RC) columns under combined loads. This study utilized theoretical analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to investigate 25 square slender concrete columns (kL/r = 17) affected by concentric and eccentric loads, examining variables, like CFRP bar contribution, eccentricity-to-depth ratio, and reinforcement arrangement. The results demonstrated CFRP's effectiveness in these columns, with failure modes varying from brittle compression-controlled under low eccentricities to tension-controlled under high eccentricities. The FEA results indicated that the CFRP columns exhibited higher second-order moments than the steel columns due to CFRP's lower elastic modulus, these results were compatible with the experimental results. Moreover; the (P-M) interaction diagram of CFRP reinforced column does not experience a balanced point. It was also observed that increasing the reinforcement ratio enhances the axial capacity by 33% and the bending resistance by 141% while reducing the ties’ spacing from 140 mm to 40 mm has no significant influence on both the axial capacity and bending resistance. The study also expanded to verify theoretical models against experimental data, confirming their accuracy. These findings contribute to establishing reliable design guidelines for CFRP-RC columns influenced by axial loads and bending moments.

The aging of insulating oil is a critical issue in the maintenance and performance of electrical transformers, as it can lead to reduce insulation properties, increase risk of electrical breakdown, and decrease operational lifespan. Many parameters are calculated in this study in order to examine the efficiency of this sensor like sensitivity (S), signal to noise ratio (SNR), resolution (refractive index unit) and figure of merit (FOM) and the values are for figure of merit is 11.05, the signal to noise ratio is 20.3, the sensitivity is 6.63, and the resolution is 3

Physiologic, inflammatory and structural factors contribute to the development of asthma. Assessment and monitoring of asthma control can be done by a validated children asthma control test (CACT). Management of asthma must address three components which are an appropriate management plan, the most appropriate medication if necessary, and the use of safe and effective medication. The management plan should consider patient counseling and education about the definition of asthma, signs, and symptoms, the pathophysiology of asthma, common triggers for asthma and how can avoid them,

In the present work radiography films have been used in evaluating the efficiency of using unsaturated polyester polymer reinforced with lead oxide (PbO) as shield material for medical x-ray devices, many parameters studied like concentration and thickness that they are increasing the attenuation of x-ray in them. The results show that the attenuation of X-ray increasing with concentration of reinforced material and with thickness, and the optical density decreases with increasing concentration from 0% to 50%, we chose 30% as suitable concentration to increase

To achieve the aims of the research, two hypotheses were formulated and the experimental design with equal groups was chosen. The population of research and its sample are determined. The test of negative emotional sensitivity, which is constructed by the researcher, was adopted. The test contains (20) items proved validity and reliability as a reliable test by presenting it to a group of arbitrators and experts in education and psychology. As simple and fast tuning technique, genetic and particle swarm optimization algorithms are used to tune the nonlinear PID neural controller's parameters to find the best velocities control actions of the right wheel and left wheel for the real mobile robot. Polywog wavelet activation function is used in the structure of the nonlinear PID neural controller. Simulation results (Matlab) and experimental work (LabVIEW) show that the proposed nonlinear PID controller with PSO
