A new ligand [N-(acetyl amino) thioxomethyl] valine was prepared from the reaction of acetyl iso thiocyanate with valine. The ligand was characterized by FT-IR, UV- vis and 1HNMR spectrum, The complexes with some metal ions (M +2 =Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd,Hg) have been prepared and characterized. The structural diagnosis were established by IR,UV-Vis  spectrum, flame atomic absorption spectroscopy conductivity and magnetic susceptibility ,the complexes showed tetrahedral geometry around the metal   l.

This work deals with the study of the morphodynamics, history of development of landforms and the origin of the Ga’ara depression. The depression is a suboval erosional topographic feature extending in E-Wdirection and located about 50 km north of Rutba Town, at the Western Desert of Iraq. The area is characterized by fresh and clean surfaces, scarcity of vegetation, abundance of rills, intense drainage and immature soil. The seeds were sown on 10/15/2020 in plastic bags weighing 10 kg of soil. The shoots were sprayed with urea at three concentrations (0, 50, 100) mg L-1 in two sprays, and NPK fertilizer was added as a ground addition at three levels (0, 100, 200) kg H-1 in two sprays in conjunction with urea spraying. Abstract

    Corrosion-fatigue occurs by the combined actions of cyclic loading and corrosive environment. The effect of shot peening on cumulative corrosion-fatigue life of 1100-H12 Al alloy was investigated. Before fatigue testing, specimens were submerged in 3.5%NaCl solution for 71 days. Constant fatigue tests were performed with and without corrosive environment. Cumulative corrosion-fatigue tests were also carried out in order to determine the fatigue life before and after shot peening.
