New, simple and sensitive batch and nFIA spectrophotometric methods for the determination of Vancomycin Hydrochloride in pure form and in pharmaceutical preparations were proposed, These method's were based on diazotization and coupling reaction between Vancomycin Hydrochloride and diazotized O-nitroaniline in alkaline medium to form Orange water-soluble dye that is stable and has a maximum absorbance at 465nm. Acalibration graph shows that aBeer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 0.8-60 and 5-400 μg.mL-1 of Vancomycin Hydrochloride with detection limit's of 0.16 and 1.666 μg.mL-1 of Vancomycin Hydrochloride for batch and nFIA methods, respectively. Samarium(III) ions react with (l-2(2-benzoinidazolyl-azo)-2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid in basic medium (pH = 8.0) forms a red-orange complex at A.max (550nm). The complex was found to be stable for at least 48 hrs. at the given pH. The apparent molar absorptivity is 7776.77  L.mol-1.Cm-1 and a linear calibration curve is obtained in the range (0.639x  10-5M - 6.350x 10 -5M). The aim of this study is to evaluate the levels of trace elements Magnesium (Mg), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), and Selenium (Se) in blood sera of asthmatic patients by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The concentrations of Mg, Cu, and Zn have been determined by Flame Atomic Absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS), and Se with flameless Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (GFAAS). The study involves (55) asthmatic patients as study group and (28) subjects as control from both genders. Serum levels of Mg, Cu, and Se were significantly higher (p<0.001 for all) in patients when compared with healthy subjects, while Zn level was relatively significant (p<0.05). A total of 258 voluntary blood donors (males 101; females 157) in the age range of 18-52 yr among males and 18-55 yr among females were examined for Toxoplasma gondii antibodies (IgG), and (IgM) by immunological technique (Enzyme linked Immunosorbant Assay) during the period from March 2009 to April 2010. This study covered a wide range of factors including immunological, age ,sex , place of residence and symptoms that may have a possible relationship with toxoplasmosis. Results presented in this study showed clearly that 38 (14.7%) of individuals participated in this study having IgG Toxoplasma Ab, among those 10 samples (9.9%) were males and 28 samples (17.8%) were females. Moreover, we found the prevalence of IgM seropositivity in th
