The aim of this study is to assess the prevalence of lung infections among a group of hospitalized cancer patients who received chemotherapy as well as to describe a population of these patients. The clinical data and demographic information were collected from the archived files of  in-patients  referred to  hematology center  / Baghdad Teaching Hospital / Medical City , ministry of health, Iraq  during the period  of  2018.

   In the present work, radium (²²⁶Ra), thorium (²³²Th), potassium (⁴⁰ K), and cesium (¹³⁷Cs) (Bq/kg) was measured for 24 soil samples of some districts of Al-Doura city in Baghdad governorate. The gamma spectrometry method with NaI (Tl) detector was used for radiometric measurements. The average values of specific activity for   ²²⁶Ra, ²³²Th, ⁴⁰K and ¹³⁷Cs in soil samples were 38.03, 42.48, 16.34 and 2.76 Bq/kg, respectively. The prediction of the blood flow through an axisymmetric arterial stenosis is one of the most important aspects to be considered during the Atherosclrosis. Since the blood is specified as a non-Newtonian flow, therefore the effect of fluid types and effect of rheological properties of non-Newtonian fluid on the degree of stenosis have been studied. The motion equations are written in vorticity-stream function formulation and solved numerically. A comparison is made between a Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid for blood flow at different velocities, viscosity and Reynolds number were solved also. This research dedicated to make an investigation for the variation of electron density concentration of D- region(NmD), at a characteristic height of 81 km throughout solar cycle 23, with solar activity(represented by sunspot number indices: international sunspot number(Ri), Northern hemisphere sunspot number(Rn) and Southern hemisphere sunspot number(Rs), as well as, the correlation between these indices for Baghdad city(lat.: 33.3o N, long.: 44.4o E) at local noon time during the ascending and the descending phases of solar cycle 23.
