In this article, the concept of Menger probabilistic b-partial metric spaces (or random partial b-metric spaces) are recalled and some concerning triangle functions. In the framework of such spaces, a (b, ψ, λ)-admissible and type of (b, ψ, λ Contractive mappings are presented in this space to prove a new general fixed point theorem in that special sense. Finally, it has been enhanced by applying it to solve a delay Volterra integral equation in C[a, b], as a complete Menger probabilistic b-partial metric space.

This study investigates the corrosion inhibition performance of a newly synthesized quinazolinone derivative, AMQ, on mild steel in a hydrochloric acid medium. The inhibition efficiency was evaluated using potentiodynamic polarization at varying inhibitor concentrations (100–250 ppm) and temperatures (303– 333 K). The results showed that AMQ exhibited effective corrosion inhibition, with the highest efficiency of 74% observed at 250 ppm and 323 K. The inhibition of 3-Benzyl -2-mercaptoquinoizoline -4 (3H)-one (BMQ) on the corrosion of carbon steel in 0.5 M HCl studied by potentionstat polarization methods at 303–333 K.
