At a time when Turkey was undergoing developments at various levels and a change in govemment policy after the Demccratic Party came to power, which focused in its foreign policy on strengthening reltions with the West in general and the United States America in particular. The US government was the supporter of Democratic Partys policy and supported it intemally and extemally . But this policy soon changed, and the American government removed its hand from helping the Mandarin govemment, which was one of the most important reasons that led to the success of the military coup of 1960.
