Spectrum Analyzing X-ray Data Image (FITS) Using Ds9 Program
...Show More Authors

n this study, data or X-ray images Fixable Image Transport System (FITS) of objects were analyzed, where energy was collected from the body by several sensors; each sensor receives energy within a specific range, and when energy was collected from all sensors, the image was formed carrying information about that body. The images can be transferred and stored easily. The images were analyzed using the DS9 program to obtain a spectrum for each object,an energy corresponding to the photons collected per second. This study analyzed images for two types of objects (globular and open clusters). The results showed that the five open star clusters contain roughly the same materials. The clusters are composed of Carbon, Sodium, Magnesium, Aluminum, Silicon, Phosphorus, Sulfur, Nickel, and Germanium, while globular clusters contain the same elements but differ from the elements in the other type in terms of type and abundance. The three stars cluster contains roughly the same material, Carbon, Silicon, Phosphorus, Nickel, and Germanium, except for a small percentage of Neon that appears in the NGC 6121 stars cluster.

TOPOLOGY SPECTRUM OF A KU-ALGEBRA
...Show More Authors

The aim of this paper is to study the Zariski topology of a commutative KU-algebra. Firstly, we introduce new concepts of a KU-algebra, such as KU-lattice, involutory ideal and prime ideal and investigate some basic properties of these concepts. Secondly, the notion of the topology spectrum of a commutative KU-algebra is studied and several properties of this topology are provided. Also, we study the continuous map of this topological space.

Spectrum Sensing Opportunities in Cognitive Radios
...Show More Authors

Cognitive radio is observed as a new approach, which could be cope with the spectral limitations. This approach is designed to detect whether a particular segment of the radio spectrum is currently in use and to jump into the temporarily unused spectrum rapidly without interfering with the transmissions of other users. CR is the promising radio technology which aims to detect and utilize the temporally unused spectrum bands by sensing its radio environment in order to improve spectrum utilization. To enhance the sensing performance, cooperative spectrum sensing has been proposed. However, when the number of cognitive user tends to be very large, the bandwidth for reporting sensing results to the common receiver will be very huge. In this pa

Optimization of Cooperation Sensing Spectrum Performance
...Show More Authors

Cooperation spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks has an analogy to a distributed decision in wireless sensor networks, where each sensor make local decision and those decision result are reported to a fusion center to give the final decision according to some fusion rules. In this paper the performance of cooperative spectrum sensing examines using new optimization strategy to find optimal weight and threshold curves that enables each secondary user senses the spectrum environment independently according to a floating threshold with respect to his local environment. Our proposed approach depends on proving the convexity of the famous optimization problem in cooperative spectrum sensing that stated maximizing the probability of detec

Blood Vessels Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy from Retinal Fundus Image using Image Processing Techniques
...Show More Authors

Early detection of eye diseases can forestall visual deficiency and vision loss. There are several types of human eye diseases, for example, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, arteriosclerosis, and hypertension. Diabetic retinopathy (DR) which is brought about by diabetes causes the retinal vessels harmed and blood leakage in the retina. Retinal blood vessels have a huge job in the detection and treatment of different retinal diseases. Thus, retinal vasculature extraction is significant to help experts for the finding and treatment of systematic diseases. Accordingly, early detection and consequent treatment are fundamental for influenced patients to protect their vision. The aim of this paper is to detect blood vessels from

Steganography Based on Image Compression Using a Hybrid Technique
...Show More Authors

Information security is a crucial factor when communicating sensitive information between two parties. Steganography is one of the most techniques used for this purpose. This paper aims to enhance the capacity and robustness of hiding information by compressing image data to a small size while maintaining high quality so that the secret information remains invisible and only the sender and recipient can recognize the transmission. Three techniques are employed to conceal color and gray images, the Wavelet Color Process Technique (WCPT), Wavelet Gray Process Technique (WGPT), and Hybrid Gray Process Technique (HGPT). A comparison between the first and second techniques according to quality metrics, Root-Mean-Square Error (RMSE), Compression-

Image Classification Using Bag of Visual Words (BoVW)
...Show More Authors

In this paper two main stages for image classification has been presented. Training stage consists of collecting images of interest, and apply BOVW on these images (features extraction and description using SIFT, and vocabulary generation), while testing stage classifies a new unlabeled image using nearest neighbor classification method for features descriptor. Supervised bag of visual words gives good result that are present clearly in the experimental part where unlabeled images are classified although small number of images are used in the training process.

Satellite image classification using proposed singular value decomposition method
...Show More Authors

In this work, satellite images for Razaza Lake and the surrounding area
district in Karbala province are classified for years 1990,1999 and
2014 using two software programming (MATLAB 7.12 and ERDAS
imagine 2014). Proposed unsupervised and supervised method of
classification using MATLAB software have been used; these are
mean value and Singular Value Decomposition respectively. While
unsupervised (K-Means) and supervised (Maximum likelihood
Classifier) method are utilized using ERDAS imagine, in order to get
most accurate results and then compare these results of each method
and calculate the changes that taken place in years 1999 and 2014;
comparing with 1990. The results from classification indicated that

Studying the x- ray atomic Scattering form Factor and Nuclear Magnetic Shielding Constant for Be atom in its Excited state (1s2 2s 3s) and the Be - like ions
...Show More Authors

The division partitioning technique has been used to analyze the four electron systems into six-pairs electronic wave functions for ( for the Beryllium atom in its excited state (1s2 2s 3s ) and like ions ( B+1 ,C+2 ) using Hartree-Fock wave functions . The aim of this work is to study atomic scattering form factor f(s) for and nuclear magnetic shielding constant. The results are obtained numerically by using the computer software (Mathcad).

Synthesis of Six and Seven-membered Heterocyclic Molecules Containing an Adamantyl Fragment and an X-ray Crystal Structure of (E)-N-(adamantan-1-yl)-1-(3-nitrophenyl)methanimine
...Show More Authors

Our work included a synthesis of three new imine derivatives—1,3-thiazinan-4-one, 1,3-oxazinan-6-one and 1,3-oxazepin-4,7-dione—which contained an adamantyl fragment. These were produced via the condensation of the Schiff`s base (E)-N-(adamantan-1-yl)-1-(3-aryl)methanimine with 3-mercaptopropanoic acid; 3-chloropropanoic acid; and maleic, citraconic anhydride, respectively. These new imines were prepared via the condensation of adamantan-1-ylamine and 3-nitro-, 3-bromobenzaldehyde in n-BuOH. We obtained a good yield of products. FTIR, 1H NMR spectroscopy and C.H.N.S analysis were used to diagnostic the products. The molecular structure of (E)-N-(adamantan-1-yl
