Synthesis and study liquid crystalline properties of novel Benzimidazol-8-hydroxyquinoline complexes by reaction of a-Chloro acetic acid with 3,3'-dimethylbiphenyl-4,4'-diamine in 10% aqueous sodium hydroxide to synthesized compound [I] then the later compound reacted with o-phenylenediamine in 4N Hydrochloric acid to synthesized compound N4,N4'-bis((1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)methyl)-3,3'-dimethyl-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine =[II] . While the complexes [III],[IV],[V],[VI] and [VII] synthesized from reacted compound [II] , 8-hydroxyquinoline with metal(II) salts { M= Mn(II), Fe(II), Ni (II), Cu(II),and Zn(II)}. The compounds [I],[II],[III] and [IV] showed liquid crystal behavior , while the others compounds [V] ,[VI] and [VII] did not show any mesomorphic phase . Spectral investigations suggested octahedral coordination geometrical arrangement for M (II) complexes.

Polymethylmethacrylate film (PMMA) of thickness 75 μm was evaluated Spectrophotometrically for using it as a low-doses gamma radiation dosimeter. The doses were examined in the range 0.1 mrad-10 krad. Within an absorption band of 200-400 nm, the irradiated films showed an increase in the absorption intensity with increasing the absorbed doses. Calibration curves for the changes in the absorption differences were obtained at 218, 301, and 343 nm. At 218 nm the response for the absorbed doses is a linear in the range 10 mrad- 10 krad. Hence it is recommended to be adopted as an environmental low doses dosimeter
In this research, we introduce and study the concept of fibrewise bitopological spaces. We generalize some fundamental results from fibrewise topology into fibrewise bitopological space.
