This study evaluated the extent to which obturation materials bypass fractured endodontic instruments positioned in the middle and apical thirds of severely curved simulated root canals using different obturation techniques. Sixty resin blocks with simulated root canals were used, each with a 50° curvature, a 6.5 mm radius of curvature, and a length of 16.5 mm, prepared to an ISO #15 diameter and taper. Canals were shaped using ProTaper Universal files (Dentsply Maillefer) attached to an X-smart Plus endo motor (Dentsply), set at 3.5 Ncm torque and 250 rpm, up to size S2 at working length. To simulate fractures, F2 and F3 files were weakened 3 mm from the tip, then twisted to break in the apical and middle sections of the canal, respectively. All samples were sealed with GuttaFlow 2 and divided into three groups (n = 20/group) according to obturation technique: A) single cone, B) lateral condensation with a rotary spreader, and C) softcore obturators. Each group was then divided into two subgroups (n = 10) based on the instrument fracture location (1 = apical, 2 = middle). The linear intrusion of obturation materials through the fractured instruments was measured using ImageJ software and analyzed statistically with ANOVA, Tukey tests, and independent t-tests, with significance set at p<0.05. Material bypass in group B1 (3.27 ± 0.63 mm) was significantly greater than in group A1 (2.39 ± 0.44 mm) and group C1 (2.91 ± 0.77 mm). In group C2, bypass (5.76 ± 0.64 mm) was significantly higher than in group A2 (3.82 ± 0.2 mm) and group B2 (2.27 ± 0.96 mm). Additionally, bypass in group A2 was greater than in group B2, and group B1 had more bypass than B2, while group C2 exceeded C1. The lateral condensation technique with a rotary spreader and softcore obturators increased the bypass of obturation materials through fractured instruments in simulated curved canals. These techniques may thus enhance material flow in endodontic procedures involving instrument fractures.
In this work, the effect of vortex shedding on the solar collector performance of the parabolic trough solar collector (PTSC) was estimated experimentally. The effect of structure oscillations due to wind vortex shedding on solar collector performance degradation was estimated. The performance of PTSC is evaluated by using the useful heat gain and the thermal instantaneous efficiency. Experimental work to simulate the vortex shedding excitation was done. The useful heat gain and the thermal efficiency of the parabolic trough collector were calculated from experimental measurements with and without vortex loading. The prototype of the collector was fabricated for this purpose. The effect of vortex shedding at different operation condition

The solid materials were sand (size 0.7 mm), sugar (size0.7 mm) and 15% cast iron used as a tracer. The fluidizing gas was air with velocity ranged from 0.45-0.65 m/s while the mixing time was up to 10 minutes. The mixing index for each experiment was calculated by averaging the results of 10 samples taken from different radial and axial positions in fluidized QVF column 150 mm ID and 900 mm height.
The experimental results were used in solving a mathematical model of mixing rate and mixing index at an equilibrium proposed by Rose. The results show that mixing index increases with inc

Show MorePolitical terminology differs from any other type of terminology not only in the presence of political terminology, but also in content, structure, functions and the recipient who perceives it. Taking this into account, it is inappropriate to consider the semantic difficulties of translating Russian-language political terms solely at the semantic level. In our opinion, it is inextricably linked with the lexical, syntactic and grammatical levels. If we combine all 4 levels, then the following translation techniques can be distinguished: lexical borrowing (transcription / transliteration, tracing); modulation; generalization / concretization; omission / addition; descriptive translation; conversion [Komissarov 2013]. Show MoreObjective: This study evaluated the effect of immediate dentin sealing on the marginal adaptation of lithium disilicate overlays with three different types of resin-luting agents: preheated composite, dual-cure adhesive resin, and flowable composite. Materials and Methods: Forty-eight maxillary first premolars of similar size were prepared with a butt joint preparation design. The teeth were separated into two primary groups, each with twenty-four teeth: Group DDS: Delay dentin sealing (non-IDS) teeth were not treated. Group IDS: dentin sealing was applied immediately after teeth preparation. Each group was subsequently separated into three separate subgroups. Subgroups (DDS+Phc, IDS+Phc): cemented with preheated composite (Enamel plus HRi,

The harmful effects of this distress expand the deterioration of other known distresses such as rutting and fatigue cracking. This paper focused on the efficiency of using the waste material of demolished concrete to prepare asphalt mixtures that can withstand the effect of moisture in the pavement. For this purpose, different percentages of waste demolished concrete (0, 10, 20, 30, 50, 70 and 100) were embedded as a replacement for coarse aggregate to construct the base course. The optimum asphalt contents were determined depending on the Marshall method. Then after, two parameters were founded to evaluate the moisture

Show MoreThe accession of countries to the World Trade Agreement and the openness of markets to each other without restrictions led to the emergence of the philosophy of "a world without borders and business units without countries", which required adapting the modern business environment to that philosophy, which is considered as objectives for the activities of the units that must be implemented in order to achieve competition. The objective of the units has changed from making profit to meeting the desires of customers, which is what imposed a new role for management accounting as a field of knowledge renewed in it visions of competitiveness between units. Because of the increasing needs for information in light of environmental change
