The Rate of Performance of Scientific Committees in the University of Baghdad in Accordance to the Department’s Heads’ Viewpoint

The research aims at recognition of The rate of performing tasks done by the scientific committees in the scientific departments in the University of Baghdad, within the evaluative perspective of the departments’ Heads. To find any statistically significant differences in the responses of the research sample to the rates performance of the scientific committees in scientific departments in the University of Baghdad, within the evaluative perspective of the departments’ Heads, according to the two variables of the social gender; male and females, and field of specialization of Scientific and Humanities. The research sample consisted if (107) heads of the scientific department in the University of Baghdad. The researchers designed a questionnaire as the research instrument. The results showed that the rates of the performance are high according to the questionnaire that included the tasks of the committees. Also, there are no differences in the responses of the research sample to the rates of performance of scientific committees in the scientific departments in the University of Baghdad, according to the variables of social gender; male and females, on one hand, and the field of specialization of Scientific and Humanities, on the other. Consequently, the research came up with a number of recommendations and proposals.

New Mode for the On-Line Determination of Amiloride in Pure and Pharmaceutical Preparation Using CFIA Via the Use of Linear Array from Six LED (Snow White) with One Solar Cell in a Homemade Ayah 6Sx1-T-1D Solar CFI Analyser

A newly flow injection-turbidimetric method characterized by it is speed and sensitivity has been developed for the determination of Amiloride in pure and pharmaceutical preparations. It is based on the formation of yellowish white precipitate for the Amiloride-phosphomolybidic acid ion pair in aqueous medium. Turbidity was measured by Ayah 6Sx1-T-1D solar cell CFI analyser via the attenuation of incident light from the surfaces precipitated particles at 0-180. The Chemical and physical parameters were investigated. Anaemia is a common extra-articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) where anaemia of chronic disease (ACD) and iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) are the two most frequent types. The distinction between these two types of anaemia has always been challenging requiring sophisticated techniques. The Relation between Bacterial and Heavy Metal Water Pollution and Blood Micronuclei as Biomarkers in the Tigris River Fish

The objective of this study is to evaluate the bacterial count and heavy metal concentration of river water on fish micronuclei. Fish and water samples are carried out in 1 May to 1 June 2013 from Tigris River. A total of fifty three fish sample are studied. The bacteriological quality of water showed that the total viable count is ranged from 150×103 to 352×103 cfu/ml and fecal coliform counts was 1250 cell/100ml during the study period. All the metals (Cu, Hg, Pb, and Zn) are within the normal limit, but Cd was slightly elevated in river water samples. A STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF SEMI-ANGLE OF CONE ON THE VIBRATION CHARACTERISTICS OF CYLINDRICAL-CONICAL COUPLED SHELL STRUCTURE

In this work, the effect of variation of semi-angle of the conical part on the vibration characteristics of cylindrical-conical coupled structure is investigated. The shell is made of polyester resin reinforced by continuous E-glass fibers. The case is analyzed experimentally and numerically for orthotropic shell structures. The experimental program is conducted by exciting the fabricated structure by an impact hammer and monitoring the response using an attached accelerometer for different semi-angles of the conical part.
