After baking the flour, azodicarbonamide, an approved food additive, can be converted into carcinogenic semicarbazide hydrochloride (SEM) and biurea in flour products. Thus, determine SEM in commercial bread products is become mandatory and need to be performed. Therefore, two accurate, precision, simple and economics colorimetric methods have been developed for the visual detection and quantitative determination of SEM in commercial flour products. The 1st method is based on the formation of a blue-coloured product with λmax at 690 nm as a result of a reaction between the SEM and potassium ferrocyanide in an acidic medium (pH 6.0). In the 2nd method, a brownish-green colored product is formed due to the reaction between the SEM and phosphomolybdic acid (PMA) in a basic medium (pH 9.0). The resulting product absorbs light at λmax 750 nm. The colorimetric methods can be used either as sensors to detect the SEM by bare eye observation as little as 10 ppm and 2.0 ppm within 4−2 min or by spectrophotometry as the determination methods with linearity ranges 8.0−180 ppm and 0.5−30 ppm for the 1st and 2nd methods respectively. The developed methods were successfully applied to determine the SEM in the commercial bread products with a relative standard deviation (RSD) <3 %, <2 % and recovery of 94–103 %, 96–101 % for methods (1st and 2nd) respectively. The visual detection limits of the sensors can be used as a platform for SEM field-portable detection due to their lower limitations than the reported SEM in flour products, which opens the doors for on-site detection of SEM with instrument free.
The visual stimulus is the effective force in visual attraction that achieves visual and perceptual co-optation and is important in wooing the recipient, and many procedural processes in the design are interpreted on it as the visual stimulus achieves visual comfort and a sense of pleasure and gives (place) the interior space a transformation in its plastic structure as well as arousing attention through The kinetic rhythm and the formal diversity, which increases the possibility of breaking the routine and traditional constraints of design patterns through the coating and encapsulation of the vertical and horizontal levels . Thus, the research problem was launched based on the following question: What are the stimuli of the visual stimu
... Show MoreVision loss happens due to diabetic retinopathy (DR) in severe stages. Thus, an automatic detection method applied to diagnose DR in an earlier phase may help medical doctors to make better decisions. DR is considered one of the main risks, leading to blindness. Computer-Aided Diagnosis systems play an essential role in detecting features in fundus images. Fundus images may include blood vessels, exudates, micro-aneurysm, hemorrhages, and neovascularization. In this paper, our model combines automatic detection for the diabetic retinopathy classification with localization methods depending on weakly-supervised learning. The model has four stages; in stage one, various preprocessing techniques are app

... Show MoreThis study is attempt to improve thermal isolation through measuring thermal conductivity composite of on polyester resin with fillers of (TiO2, ZnO, Acrylonitril, wood flour Coconut (Wf). The grain size of the fillers is 200 µm. The number of samples is (16) in addition to the virgin sample; these samples are prepared by cast molding method for polyester with filler volume fractions (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%). Shore hardness tests were used to measure the hardness and Lee disk method for thermal conductivity. The experimental results showed that the (20% ZnO) sample has the maximum value of thermal conductivity where (20% w.f) has minimum thermal conductivity .on the other hand (15% ZnO) sample give the maximum value of hardness where (20% w

In this paper, the computational method (CM) based on the standard polynomials has been implemented to solve some nonlinear differential equations arising in engineering and applied sciences. Moreover, novel computational methods have been developed in this study by orthogonal base functions, namely Hermite, Legendre, and Bernstein polynomials. The nonlinear problem is successfully converted into a nonlinear algebraic system of equations, which are then solved by Mathematica®12. The developed computational methods (D-CMs) have been applied to solve three applications involving well-known nonlinear problems: the Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer equation, the Blasius equation, and the Falkner-Skan equation, and a comparison between the met
