Forty-five samples in total there are just twenty isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginousa. Over the period of four months, from January 2025 to April 2025, a variety of clinical samples were gathered from numerous hospitals in Baghdad, including Al-Sader, Ibn Al-Balady, Fatima Al-Zahraa, and Al-Imam Ali Hospitals. The clinical samples of patients with burns infections were included. The Vitek 2 compact and a biochemical test verified that all isolates were cultivated on king A, king B, ctrmide agar, macConkey agar, and blood agar. Using the disk diffusion technique, the susceptibility of P. aeruginousa isolates to 16 antibiotics from various classes was determined. P. aeruginousa isolates exhibited strong resistance to the majority of the antibiotics under investigation, according to the findings of the sensitivity test. Numerous Aspergillus terreus bioactive extract compounds that were extracted from soil showed antibacterial activity. Through a number of signal transduction pathways, secondary metabolites activate the host's defenses. At varying concentrations, the bioactive molecule showed high levels of efficacy against P. aeruginousa isolates from burns.
the Research problem entitled: (compound shapes in the work of the artist Max Ernst and Ali Najjar) the nature of the concept of compound shapes and mechanisms of functioning in contemporary art done. The research consisted of(4) four parts: the first part is dealing with the methodological framework of the Search represented the research problem , which is manifested through this study to reveal the technical features of the composite shapes, that linked achievement both artists (Max Ernst) and (Ali Al Najjar). Which is crystallized into two objectives as follows: 1 - Detection of the technical features of the composite shapes in the work of Max Ernst and Ali Al-Najjar.2 - Detection of similarities and differences in the recruitment of
... Show MoreA series of benzohydrazide derivatives attached to coumarin moiety at position 6 and 7 have been synthesized. The reaction of coumarin derivatives (coumarin I and II) with p-nitrophenyl hydrazine yield Schiff bases (compound1a and IIa).These Schiff bases were refluxed with benzoyl chloride to give benzohydrazide derivatives of coumarin substituted at its 6 or 7 nucleus position (Ia1 and IIa1).The reaction and the purity of the products were checked by thin layer chromatography (TLC). The structures of the final compounds and their intermediates were confirmed by their melting points, infra red spectroscopy, and elemental microanalysis(CHN).
Compounds (Ia1 and IIa1) were evaluated for&n

Benzamides derivatives and sulfonamides derivatives were prepared from p-amino benzaldehyde. Then these compounds were condensed with (2,4-dinitrophenyl) hydrazine through Imine bond formation to give hydrazones compounds. The compounds were characterized using FT-IR (IR Affinity-1) spectrometer, and 1HNMR analyses. The majority of the compounds have a moderate antimicrobial activity against “Gram-positive bacteria staphylococcus Aureus, and staphylococcus epidermidis, Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, and fungi species Candida albicans” using concentrations of 250 µg\ml.
Isatin is a heterocyclic molecule that belongs to one of the most important classes of organic compounds known as indolines. Isatin, isatin analogs, and their Schiff bases have recently attracted a lot of attention in medicinal chemistry. Isatin, itself, shows various biological activities such as antiviral, anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant, and anticonvulsant. Bis- Schiff bases containing isatin moiety have been known to possess a wide spectrum of pharmacological activities. This review offers up-to-date information on the most active isatin bis-Schiff bases, which would include anticancer, antimicrobial, antiviral, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic activities. These observations c

... Show MoreDermatophytes are species with slight genetic variation, and are yet several uncertainties about the differences among species. This study aims to isolate and diagnose the Trichophyton interdigitale by molecular technique and to reveal the phylogenetic distance and similarity of the Iraqi isolates to other isolates from the globe, in addition, to submit the obtained sequences to the NCBI database. This study included 86 with multiple lesions on different parts of the body. The results showed different variations within the ITS gene between the isolates. It was concluded that Trichophyton interdigitale in Iraqi isolates had two types of substitution variations (Transition and Transversion) different than global isolates. Moreover, it

Several studies have sought to examine chemotherapies for leishmaniasis treatment but most of them are of toxic and/or undesirable side effect, therefore, the need for investigating new fewer toxic therapies is essential. Aim of study: In this study, the cytotoxic effect of Artemisinin (ART), a novel herbal compound, was screened against the two forms, promastigotes and amastigotes, of the Iraqi isolate of Leishmania tropica, the causative agent of Baghdad boil. Material and methods: Different concentrations (1000, 500, 250, 125, 62.5, 31.25, 15.6 and 7.8) µM of Artemisinin were screened to investigate the leishmanic

Any chemical pesticide is therefore made safe for use by examining its biological characteristics and side effects. The present study was aimed at determining the resistance efficiency of six bacterial isolates obtained from malathion-contaminated soils. Bacteria were isolated from soil samples collected in Adhamiya, Baghdad, Iraq. Biochemical tests and VITEK 2 compact equipment were used to identify the bacterial isolates. Primary and secondary screening tests were conducted on the bacterial isolates for resistance against malathion pesticides. The optimal bacterial growth conditions were determined in malathion-contaminated media.
