أختبرت في هذه الدراسه حساسيه اختبار فرط الحساسية المتأخر وعلاقته ببعض معايير الخمج باللشمانيا في مجموعتين من حيوانات الهامستر المحقونه و كالآتي : حقنت المجموعة الأولى بطفيلي اللشمانيا الأحشائيه الحيه بينما حقنت المجموعةالثانية بلقاح عالق اللشمانيا الجلديه المقتولة بالحرارة . اظهرت المجموعه الثانيه اعلى معدل في تفاعل فرط الحساسية المتأخر(1.5 ±0.23ملم) , واقل المعدلات في كل من معامل الطحال (2.02±0.15) , طول الطحال (28.3±0.25 ملم) , معامل الكبد (4.47±0.24) واعداد الطفيليات في الطحال (1.8±0.02) مليون طفيلي, بينما أظهرت المجموعه الأولى اقل معدل في تفاعل فرط الحساسية المتأخر(1.01 ±0.08ملم) , واعلى المعدلات في كل من نسبة تضخم الطحال (2.45 ±0.15), طول الطحال (33±0.01 ملم) , معامل الكبد (5.60±0.19) واعداد الطفيليات في الطحال (11±0.5مليون طفيلي). يمكن ان تكون هذه النتائج دليلاً على وجود علاقه عكسيه بين الأستجابه لأختبار فرط الحساسيه المتأخر و بعض معايير شدة الخمج التجريبي باللشمانيا في حيوانات الهامستر الذهبي.
