We wanted to find out how selenium (Se) affects broiler chicken performance, meat physicochemical properties, and selenium deposition in the tissues of broilers. Each of the 96 experimental pens had 30 chickens and included a total of 2,880 one-day-old broilers (Cobb 500 strain). A factorial design of four-by-three (SY + SS) and eight replicates (SY + SS) was used for the 12 experimental treatments, with selenium levels ranging from 0.15 to 0.60 ppm and organic (SY) or inorganic (SS) sources of selenium and their relationship (SY + SS). Corrosion rate tests were carried out on carbon steel under concentration cells conditions of oxygen and sodium chloride. The effect of aeration in one compartment on the corrosion rate of both coupled metals was determined. In addition, the effects of time and temperatures on the corrosion rate of both coupled metals and galvanic currents between them were investigated. Current study aimed to investigate the effect of piroxicam on some hematological
and biochemcal parameters. For this reason forty males mature Sprage Dawlley rats
were divided into four equal groups. control group administrated distilled water
(G1), and three groups administrated (20mg/kg,30mg/kg,40mg/kg) body weight of
piroxicam for 45 days. The results showed significant decrease (P<0.05) in
hemoglobin (Hb) and packed ceq volume (PCV) in groups treated with
(30,40)mg/kg of piroxicam, while the treated groups produced significant increease
(P<0.05) in the total white blood cell count (WBC). On the serum biochemical
