The discus throwing event is one of the complex events in athletics, and it is characterized by a performance method that depends on the principle of mechanical moments and requires high explosive capabilities of the thrower in addition to some physical specifications,which depends effectively and effectively on the biomechanical aspects in generating large moments during rotation. The importance of the research is highlighted by the interest in athletics, especially the effectiveness of the discus throw and the continuation of its development process, the importance of kinetic analysis in revealing the most important weaknesses and strengths of shooters, and the importance of explosive power And the moments generated in the rotation of the torso and the throwing arm during the moment of throwing. The research problem centered on showing the numerical values of the moments generated during rotation and their relationship to achievement, focusing on the values of the explosive capabilities of the legs, arms and the body as a whole and their relationship to the achieved achievement. As well as neglecting the science of kinetic analysis and identifying weaknesses with high accuracy, in addition to the lack of interest by the trainers in the characteristics of the values of mechanical moments that affect the flow of the shooter in order to set their training programs according to the priority of those characteristics in achieving their goals by achieving the best completion distance. The aim of the research is to identify the most important moments affecting the torso and the throwing arm, from the stage of applying force to the stage of the final throw, and to the explosive capabilities and their relationship to achievement for advanced discus throwers. The researcher used the descriptive approach and correlations in her current study to suit the nature of the problem of the study. The research community consisted of advanced Iraqi discus throwers, numbering (6) shooters, who took the comprehensive enumeration method. The test was conducted on the research sample in the stadium of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Kufa in preparation for the Iraqi Clubs Championship, the second round. Each shooter was given six attempts as in the official races, and the best attempt was taken as an achievement for the analysis, and an analysis camera (CASIO FH13.5) was used at a speed of 120 frames. The effect of D phase polyamide (PA6)on the rheological properties, Young Modulus and the thermal expansion coefficient of two blends groups (bitumen-polyamide) were tested. The first group was for bitumen-PA6 blends and the second group for bitumen blended with polymer resulted from the crystallization of PA6-formic acid solution in water(PAFW).The obtained results proved that adding both types of polyamide has led to a rise in toughness and softening point temperature while the penetration Index approached -3 after adding the polyamide. The acceptance sampling plans for generalized exponential distribution, when life time experiment is truncated at a pre-determined time are provided in this article. The two parameters (α, λ), (Scale parameters and Shape parameters) are estimated by LSE, WLSE and the Best Estimator’s for various samples sizes are used to find the ratio of true mean time to a pre-determined, and are used to find the smallest possible sample size required to ensure the producer’s risks, with a pre-fixed probability (1 - P*). The result of estimations and of sampling plans is provided in tables.

Some biological aspects of the zebra mussel, Dreissena polymorpha have been studied at Al-Musayab thermal power plant ,sixty km. south west of Baghdad. Data collected during the period extended from November, 2002 to October, 2003 except for the month of April The population consisted of five age groups; O, I, II, III, and IV which have 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 annuli respectively. The study also proved the validity of annuli readings for age and growth determination. The average annual growth rates for age groups O,I, II, III, and IV were 5.7, 5.5, 5.4, 5.2 and 5.4 respectively. High performance self-consolidating concrete HP-SCC is one of the most complex types of concrete which have the capacity to consolidated under its own weight, have excellent homogeneity and high durability. This study aims to focus on the possibility of using industrial by-products like Silica fumes SF in the preparation of HP-SCC enhanced with discrete steel fibers (DSF) and monofilament polypropylene fibers (PPF). From experimental results, it was found that using DSF with volume fraction of 0.50 %; a highly improvements were gained in the mechanical properties of HP-SCC.
