This new azo dye 3-((2-(1H-indol-3-yl) ethyl) diazenyl) quinoline-2-ol was subsequently used to prepare a series of complexes with the metal ions of Cr+3, Cu+2, VO+2, Mn+2and Mo+6. The compounds identified by 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectroscopy, as well as TGA, DSC, and C.H.N., conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, metal and chlorine content. The results showed that the ligand behaves in a bidantate, and that the complexes gave octahedral, excepting for VO+2 square pyramid was given, that all complexes are non-electrolytes. The effectiveness of mention the compounds in inhibiting free radicals was evaluated by the ability to act as an antioxidant was measured using DPPH as a free radical and gallic acid as a standard substance, the IC50 value was determined, because the ligand was found to have a higher ability to inhibit free radicals, and the ability to inhibit the complexes varied according to the IC50 value. The anti-breast cancer efficacy of the compounds was evaluated at five concentrations each, the results showed that the IC50 value for ligand was 49.86 µg/mL, while the Mo complex gave 25.48 µg/mL, Cu complex gave 123.8 µg/mL, meaning that the Mo-complex gave a higher inhibition value than ligand and Cu. Free radicals are reactive compounds, their excessive production is considered to be an important cause of oxidative damage in biomolecules causing degenerative diseases. Polyphenols are one of the most important groups of secondary metabolites of plants, which have an antioxidant activity depending on their properties as hydrogen donors. Echinops polyceras Boiss. (Asteraceae) is one of Echinops genus species that spread in Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. Phytochemicals found in this species leaves have been extracted with gradient polarity solvents, and primary screening of the secondary metabolites was established. The phenolic compounds and flavonoids contents were determined. The free radicals scavenging act

Diagnosis of prepared Ligand and its complexes is done by spectral methods mass spectrometer;1H -NMR for ligand Schiff base FTIR, UV-Vis, molar conductance, elemental microanalyses, atomic absoption and magnetic susceptibility. The analytical studies for the all new complexes have shown octahedral geometries. The study of organicperformance of ligand Schiff base and its complexes show various activity agansit four type of bactria two gram (+) and two gram (-) .
The reaction of starting materials (L-asCl2):bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(chloro(carboxylic) methylidene)]- -L-ascorbic acid] with glycine gives new product bis[O,O-2,3,O,O-5,6-(N,O-di carboxylic methylidene N-glycine)-L-ascorbic acid] (L-as-gly) which is isolated and characterized by, Mass spectrum UV-visible and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR) . The reaction of the (L-as-gly) with M+2; Co(II) Ni(II) Cu(II) and Zn(II) has been characterized by FT- IR , Uv-Visible , electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibility methods and atomic absorption and molar ratio . The analysis showed that the ligand coordinate with metal ions through mono dentate carboxylic resulting in six-coordinated with Co(II) Ni(II) Cu(II) ions while with

The diester reacted with hydrazine hydrate(N2H4-H2O) to give dihydrazide compound [II], then reacted with Pyruvic acid and phosphorous oxychloride to produce diketone compound [III]. The last compound was reacted with urea and thiourea to give aminooxazol and aminothiazol respectively. The synthesized compounds actually characterized and determined the structures by melting points, FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopies. By u

The prepared ligands were identified by (C.H.N) analysis and UV-VIS, FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. Metal complexes of the two ligands were prepared in an aqueous alcohol with Zn (II), Mn (II) and Cu (II) ions with a molar ratio1:1. The proposed general formula for the resulting complexes was [ML.CL2.H2O]H2O .The complexes were characterized by (C.H.N) technique , spectroscopic methods ,conductivity, atomic absorption ,magnetic susceptibility measurements and melting point. According to the results obtained, the suggested geometry is to be octahedral for all the complexes.
A new ligand (H4L) and its complexes with (CoII, NiII, CuII and PdII). This ligand was prepared in two steps, in the first step a solution of terephthaldehyde in methanol reacted under refluxe with 1,2-phenylenediamine to give precursore compound which reacted in the second step with 2,4- dihydroxybenzaldehyde to give the ligand. The complexes were synthesized by direct reaction of the corresponding metal chloride with the ligand.
